Close to trails and Kelowna wineries, it’s an ideal base for slower, restorative winter stays.

WELCOME TO LAKEHUS EDGE, A LAKEVIEW RETREAT FOR EVERY SEASON

Perched above Okanagan Lake, LakeHus Edge is a Scandinavian-inspired home built for connection, calm, and time outdoors, especially in the quieter months. Winter here is about crisp air, warm water, fires, and space to slow down.

In warmer months, LakeHus Edge becomes a full lake-and-pool retreat with private swimming, paddleboards, and rare private buoy moorage for guests bringing their own boat. Summer dates tend to book well in advance.

With expansive lake views, cozy interiors, and wellness-focused amenities, the home is well-suited for families, couples, or groups looking for a peaceful getaway at any time of year.



THE WINTER EXPERIENCE

Hot Tub (Year-Round)
Tucked beneath the deck for privacy and shelter, the hot tub is perfect for cold-air soaks and starry winter evenings.

Wellness Area (Shared, Simple Scheduling)
Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared sauna, cold plunge, and wood firepit. We use a simple booking calendar for the sauna so we know when it’s in use. This is a courtesy only, not a restriction.

Lakeview Setting
While lake swimming is seasonal for most guests, the views are not. Winter brings stillness, misty mornings, and dramatic light across the water.

Trails & Wineries Nearby
Scenic hiking and biking trails are accessible year-round, and several award-winning Kelowna wineries are just a short drive away.

SEASONAL & YEAR-ROUND AMENITIES

Pool (Seasonal)
The pool is open from May to mid-October (weather dependent). Winter bookings do not include pool access.

Lake Access & Dock (Year-Round)
Guests may access the lake and dock year-round. Conditions vary by season, and winter access may involve snow, ice, or cold water. Proper footwear and caution are recommended.

Boat Moorage (Spring to Fall)
Private buoy moorage is available during the spring–fall boating season for guests bringing their own boat. Availability is limited and must be arranged in advance.

Winter Lake Swimming
Some guests choose to swim or cold-plunge in the lake year-round. This is optional and undertaken entirely at each guest’s discretion. Winter conditions vary, and caution is advised.

YOUR HOSTS LIVE ONSITE

We live in a separate part of the home with our two boys and are available if needed. The layout allows for strong guest privacy, but you may occasionally hear everyday family sounds. Most guests find the setting peaceful, but if complete silence or total seclusion is essential, this may not be the right fit.

Quiet hours: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am

Wood fires are permitted only when no local fire ban is in effect

A signed waiver is required for the use of watercraft and equipment

The path to the lake includes a moderately steep, uneven trail and may not be suitable for guests with mobility challenges
