William F Cottage - Rehoboth Beach

As featured in "Delaware Today", this adorable, uncomplicated house is located in Dodd's Addition, nestled between Rehoboth and Dewey, just east of Rte 1. (The Forgotten Mile!) It's a great neighborhood with wonderful, friendly neighbors. It is exactly a half mile walk to the sand, around the lake and through a shady, peaceful neighborhood. We provide a "beach wagon" to pull your gear.

With a newer kitchen, beautiful hardwood floors, and a delightful detached screened porch, you're sure to enjoy your time here. The back yard is entirely fenced in, as well.

The wide open floor plan has 2 bedrooms up, (one bedroom has a full sized bed, the other has two twins) one bedroom down with a queen sized bed. Each bedroom has a "Jack and Jill" connected bath. The upstairs bath has a tub/shower, while the downstairs has a shower. The roomy outdoor shower is a favorite.

The kitchen has an electric cooktop/oven, dishwasher, microwave, large refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, disposal, and full sized washer and dryer. There is also a toaster oven, electric griddle, and drip coffeemaker. For those cookouts, we have a charcoal grill in the back yard.

We provide beach chairs, and a pull-wagon also.

*This is not a "PARTY" house. It is in a quiet, family oriented neighborhood, and is the only rental on the block. If your plans are to let loose with a large group, loud music, and 6 cars, please look elsewhere. *

Please note, as yet, the staircase is not carpeted, which may be a consideration for some, especially small children.

The driveway will accommodate 2 cars, plus there is free street parking, though VERY limited.

We keep a supply of cleaning and dishwashing supplies, toilet paper and paper towels, as well as basic spices and condiments.

PLEASE NOTE! YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS AND TOWELS!

We do NOT provide bath soap or shampoo.

Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance-It is recommended that guests purchase "cancel for any reason" trip cancellation/interruption insurance in case of family emergencies/bad weather delays, flight/rental car cancellations, job loss, Covid-19 bans/restrictions, etc. If you cannot make your trip, and the cancellation window has lapsed, you can seek reimbursement through your travel insurance. We have decided to NOT allow Saturday check-ins or checkouts this year. Please look at the calendar below, and see if your preferred dates are available.

Early check-ins and late check-outs are

VERY RARELY available. We don't usually know until your arrival day.
