The space
This oceanside retreat is central to Corolla's main attractions. Pet Friendly. Dogs only Max 2.

This oceanside vacation rental is located in the newly built Beacon Quarters community in the popular Corolla Light area of Corolla. As a guest of Welcome to Wonderland, you will have access to a community pool, outdoor volleyball court, private outdoor shower, and easy beach access with an 8-minute walk to two beach accesses. There is also mini-golf and ice cream located directly across the street. Be sure to check out a few of the local attractions listed below so your vacation is sure to be an adventure. Also, there are many nearby wonderful restaurants, many of which are waterfront to enjoy all of the views the Outer Banks has to offer.

This beach retreat was built in 2020 and still looks and feels brand new. Welcome To Wonderland is decorated with high-end beach decor and finishes. As you enter the cottage, you step into an open concept living room and kitchen area with vaulted ceilings. The fully equipped kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, sparkling quartz countertops, an island to seat 6 people, and a Keurig. There is a gas grill and outdoor seating available as well.

The living room has a direct view of the community swimming pool. It is a perfect spot in the cottage to unwind from a day at the beach and watch tv on the flat screen. The sofa folds out to be a queen bed in case another bed is needed. There are also games and wifi provided for your family to enjoy.

There are two bedrooms in this cottage. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, flat-screen tv, and a large tile shower in the en suite bathroom. The secondary bedroom also has a king-size bed and flat-screen tv. This bedroom has a pocket door that allows access to the hallway bathroom for convenience and privacy among guests.

Other offerings to make your stay more enjoyable are: a washer, dryer, pack and play, iron and ironing board, as well as beach accessories. The beach accessories that we have available are 2 beach chairs, an umbrella, 2 boogie boards, a small cooler, a beach wagon, and sand toys.

Located in Ocean Trail on the northern Outer Banks (Corolla) — a family-oriented resort neighborhood of vacation condos, single-family rental homes, and gated communities. The area features direct ocean/beach access, and wide sandy beaches, the Currituck Beach Lighthouse a short drive away, nearby Corolla Village shopping and restaurants, and the Currituck Club golf course and nature areas. Vibe: relaxed coastal resort with seasonal tourism, quiet outside peak summer weeks.

Most visitors rely on a car — Corolla and the Northern Outer Banks are primarily drive-in. Local travel: short walks to beach access points and within Ocean Trail; neighborhood and village areas are bike- and pedestrian-friendly; Corolla has local trolleys/shuttles or private community shuttles seasonally in some complexes; rental cars, taxis, and private shuttle services are commonly used for arrivals and excursions. Currituck County Regional Airport (general aviation) serves private planes; the area has limited public transit, so plan for a vehicle or pre-booked shuttle for airport transfers.
