Tucked into 1.5 gated acres of Big Island rainforest, this is your own private wing of a working jungle homestead — 3 bedrooms, 4 beds, a large sofa bed and 2 blow up air mattresses for those unexpected tag-a-longs. The favorite guest spot is the screened outdoor kitchen, lit up with tiki lights at night, and a yard full of fruit trees you’re welcome to forage from (just ask what’s in season).

>Enjoy a unique jungle experience while still being conveniently located near waterfalls, black sand beaches, Volcanoes National Park, scenic drives and many of the islands most popular attractions.

>Plan a trip to Volcano's National Park to try to catch an episode of the famous Kilauea erupting!! Its like nothing you've ever seen!

>You are welcome to stroll through the tropical property and enjoy the seasonal fruit, and as said, please just ask what's right before picking.

>Rain or shine, enjoy the covered outdoor BBQ area, a guest favorite for grilling while listening to tropical rain.

>You have use of all of our beach gear including beach towels, surfboards and boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, snorkel gear, water shoes, floaties, & rain ponchos.

>Fall asleep to the magical sounds of the rainforest, including the coqui frogs, crickets, nocturnal birds and rain on the tin roof.

>Wake up to the sounds of tropical birds, breathe in the rainforest air, and experience a side of Hawaii that many visitors never see.

You are renting in a rural, peaceful, out of the busy lane of life location. It’s a convenient location if you want to be in the gorgeous, secluded jungle, yet reasonably close to many tourist locations and beaches on the EAST HILO side of the island. (See list under “Other Things To Note” below).

***YOUR Lodging/Rental SPACE IS NOT SHARED WITH OTHER GUESTS!

•There are a couple rentals on this property so from time to time you may see other guests. Each rental has their own screened lanai which are adjacent from one another and private locked entrance.

•Property is gated & fenced with 1.5 acres. Feel free to walk the property as you submerge yourself into nature you’ve never seen before! Feel free to grab some fruit along the way… you can always ask us what is in season.
PLEASE DON'T WALK DURING RAIN, STORMS, WINDY DAYS or AT NIGHT.

**Your space has a private entrance and any available parking space in front/near of garage not far from your rental.

1 king bed in large bedroom, A/C, 2 walls with large windows looking into the gorgeous forest, luggage racks, darkening curtains, desk & office rolling chair, plenty of outlets for your electronics, closet, drip coffee/tea maker, condiments, smart TV, fan, and table is a phone charger extra lighting, access door to side of house that leads to driveway area or the back yard, Keypad locks.

SUNRISE ROOM -
1 queen bed & 1 full bed A/C, Roku TV wall mounted and viewable to both beds in room, luggage racks, drip coffee/tea maker, condiments, large windows with lots of air flow, darkening curtains, desk & rolling office chair, plenty of outlets for your electronics, 2 ceiling fans, dehumidifier, clothes hanging area, Keypad locks.

OCEAN VIEW ROOM -
Queen bed, A/C, ceiling fan, clothing storage, darkening curtains, smart TV, plenty of outlets for your electronics. Key lock.

LIVING ROOM - 84” Smart TV! 2 large couches, one is a sofa bed, 4 seat dining table, Keurig coffee maker, condiments, water cooler equipped with spring water, dehumidifier, games, kids play area.

KITCHEN - SCREENED with nighttime Tiki lighting. Includes fully functional/stocked kitchen with fridge/freezer, gas stove/oven, microwave, air-fryer, wok, blender, crock-pot, large drip coffee/tea maker, dry food storage, condiments, seasonings, soaps, towels, enough seating for your party.

BATHROOM(s)

This bathroom is divided into 2 rooms to minimize your wait times.

•One room has your shower with a rain wand including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a vanity with storage, a sink including hand soap, blow-dryer, soft microfiber towels, hand towels, wash cloths. Step up to enter shower area, handle located near shower door for safety during use.

•Second room has a toilet, sink, hand soap and magnifying mirror, step up to use toilet, handle located for use & safety when stepping up and down.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire property.
