Large screened-in porch overlooking the river has a patio set that can sit 6 people, nice firepit just outside the cabin.
The Main Cabin offers 1 room that can sleep up to 4 people: 1 king bed, one sectional couch that opens into a full bed, and an ottoman that opens into a twin bed. Dining table can sit 4 people. Bathroom offers walk-in shower and stackable Washer/Dryer.
The Second Cabin can also sleep up to 4 people: 1 king bed and 1 sleeper couch that opens into a full bed. Second Cabin also has a fridge and a wood burning fireplace, but no running water or bathroom. All guests will have to use the only bathroom in the Main Cabin.
There is an RV pad with RV hookups next to the cabin. Please let us know what are your needs and we could either put an RV there for you or bring your own. Extra charges apply ($35 per day if you bring an RV).

For our long-term guests, we're pleased to offer house cleaning services during your stay. This optional service is provided at cost, allowing you to enjoy a consistently clean and comfortable home environment throughout your visit.
Cellular reception is spotty in the area, some carriers do better than others. While at the cabin it is recommended to connect to the Wi-Fi and enable Wi-Fi calling on your smartphone.
There are few places to rent kayaks from. The closest, Avis Kayak Rentals, is only 6 miles away in Goggon IA. Contact Avis Kayak Rentals at (319) 360-5491 and make arrangements for kayak pickup/delivery.
Few nice parks nearby (Sand Creek Area being one of them) with nice kayaking/canoeing, fishing, and hiking!
