The studio is perfectly laid out for comfort and function, featuring a plush king bed, cozy lounge area, and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for a relaxed stay. Step outside and you’re just moments from Cerritos Beach—one of the only swimmable beaches on the Pacific side of Baja, known for its consistent surf, beginner-friendly waves, and laid-back vibe.

Los Cerritos is a rustic surfer paradise. The roads are unpaved and bumpy. You don't need 4wd, but you do need to be aware that this is not Cabo San Lucas. Staying at or near the beach means walking access to dining and small markets. We do recommend renting a car during your stay in order to explore.

Summers can be hot and humid. Although every unit is equipped with air conditioning (mini-split), AC is a luxury in Baja and it may not be capable of keeping you as cool as you would like during the hot summer months.

Power outages are common. Especially during the hotter months, when the demand rises, outages may happen. They are generally short, typically less than a couple of hours, but sometimes longer. When power loss happens, the water pump will not operate and you will not have running water in the unit.

Running water in Los Cerritos is carried in by truck and, as such, is a precious resource. Please conserve. The water is as safe as the practices of transport and storage. Contamination is a possibility, so we don't drink it. We do use it to shower and brush our teeth, wash dishes, cook with and make coffee, but we purchase bottled water for drinking. There is a water jug available in the unit which you can exchange at the local market for a small fee.
