Virtaan tainio - Sysmä

Virtaan Tainio is a fine log villa built in the early 1900s and completely renovated in 2026. It features large terraces and is set in stunning rural landscapes by the water in Sysmä. The renovation was carried out with high-quality materials, creating a very comfortable atmosphere.

Located 40 km northwest of Heinola, Tainionvirta and the beautifully restored Virtaankoski are just 30 meters away. There is a short waterway connection to Lake Päijänne. The property includes a private swimming area (80 m) in a calm part of the river, with a pier and a rowing boat available for use.

Additionally, there is a sandy beach and swimming pier 150 meters away, shared with the owner. This area offers both shallow and deep swimming spots. The bottom is sandy with clay and mud, making it suitable for children.

On the villa's ground floor, there is a living room, dining area, and kitchen. There are two bedrooms, each with two beds. The bathroom includes a toilet and shower.

Upstairs, the fireplace room has two beds and an additional mattress for one. The bedroom also has two beds, and its bathroom includes a toilet and shower.

One use of the hot tub is included in the price for rentals of a week or longer. Additional uses can be rented for an extra fee. During winter, the hot tub is available for use when the temperature is above -15 degrees Celsius.
