The ocean is a mere 50 feet away from Villa Las Olas, and the views of the sea and the Gulf of Papagayo are worthy of a travel magazine! Our home is located in the Bahia Pez Vela community of 40 privately-owned homes, and is the only development on our beautiful beach. Our beach has been awarded Blue Flag designation for its protected ecological value.

Our private, jetted pool, Italian stone and wood patio, and 'next to the forest' location (end villa) distinguishes Villa Las Olas for its luxury and its privacy. The pool area was designed by Costa Rican architect Juan Roca and featured in Su Casa architecture magazine. The pool is surrounded by beautiful new Costa Rican-made Castelle lounges and dining furniture worthy of Roca's setting. We also provide a deep-seating conversation pieces that convert into cushioned lounges for sun seekers and afternoon nappers.

While our home's spacious dimensions provide ample room for larger groups, it is still intimate enough for traveling twosomes. Two of the three generously sized bedrooms are ocean-front, which makes our set-up ideal for two couples or families.

The newly-remodeled and fully-equipped kitchen and the outdoor grill provide options for home-cooked meals and for in-home chef services alike. Our three light-filled and newly remodeled bathrooms are all ceramic with high-end fixtures and finishes. All furnishings are fresh and tropical, but also practical and child-worthy.

Our home is air-conditioned (mini-splits in each of the bedroom for individual control), but each room has screens and an overhead fan for those who prefer to enjoy the pleasant ocean breezes and sounds of this tropical paradise.

Whale-watching, world class fishing and diving, as well as good old wave bobbing, snorkeling and boogey boarding are available just steps from our home. The sea provides constant entertainment, be it the delight of seeing silver rays fly out of the water and whales breech or, closer in, watching brown pelicans dive for their lunch. Our kids loved the lively tide pools on the end of the beach. We enjoy sitting on our patio with our morning Costa Rican coffee, and waiting for the green flash as the evening sun sinks below the horizon.

Our community provides a full array of concierge, business, maid, maintenance, and gardening services, as well as 24/7 security. Our team members are all long-term employees who will make you feel like you are part of the family. Cesar and Jacky are available to help you make arrangements for your Costa Rican adventures. Ziplining, hot springs, wildlife tours and cloud forest visits are popular, but don’t forget the cooking schools, horseback rides, paddle-boarding and poolside massage.

Soluna Beach Bistro is a minute's walk away from our home and, in addition to providing high quality and delicious food and drink, often sponsors live music nights. For a change of pace, our staff can arrange for an in-home chef.

If yours is a working vacation, fear not. FREE HIGH-SPEED FIBER OPTIC WIRELESS BROADBAND is available throughout our home and the outdoor patio, and cellular service is exceptional. The living room has an enhanced HD cable service which brings in all the news from home. Business services can be arranged by our concierge staff.
