Vacation house close to the beach - Gaspé

House in Douglastown, 10-15 minutes from downtown Gaspé, and located between Percé Rock (35 min) and Forillon National Park (35 min). Come discover the splendor of the Gaspé landscapes and enjoy the tranquility of the area. Come spend your vacation with family and friends or for your business trip/remote work. Arrival on Sunday or Monday, departure on Friday or Saturday.

The space
The house offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and an entrance hall. The beach is a 5-minute walk away. There is a designated fire pit area on the property (firewood provided). The large front and side decks offer stunning sunrise views. Enjoy the smaller south-facing deck as well.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire house and grounds except for the basement, which I will keep to myself via its separate exterior entrance. I am clearing out my personal belongings, but some items, like books, will remain in the house's library. I will also retain access to the vegetable garden, the greenhouse, and my trailer, which is located away from the house.

Other things to note
Considered one of Quebec's most beautiful beaches with its fine, golden sand, Haldimand Beach offers a stunning view of Forillon National Park. Its shallow waters, perfect for swimming, make it a favorite with families! Supervised from late June to late August, this beach features a fast-food restaurant, picnic areas, a children's playground, restrooms, and showers.
Douglastown Beach is an extension of Haldimand Beach, to which it is connected by a railway bridge. It offers a more natural setting. Accessible via Matte Avenue, it has no amenities and is unsupervised.

The nearest grocery store, aside from a small convenience store and gas station 2 minutes from the house, is a 15-minute drive away.

Two hybrid bikes, one large and one medium, are available upon request, free of charge.

The Airbnb is located on the banks of the Saint-Jean River, renowned for its exceptionally clear water. It is also popular for dry fly fishing. Located at the eastern tip of the Gaspé Peninsula, it originates in the Chic-Choc Mountains, flows for a distance of 121 km and finally empties into Gaspé Bay near Douglastown, in the city of Gaspé.
