type of building: Detached house. size of property: 2800m². year of construction: 2004.In Logrian-Florian (Gard), a charming village in the south of France on the borders of the Gard and Hérault departments, between Nîmes, Montpellier and Alès, we found this large, pretty, comfortable and perfectly functional single-storey holiday home. We've fitted it out with all the furniture and equipment you need to feel at home. We live in the Paris region. You will be welcomed by a local resident who knows the area well. She will introduce you to the house, how it works and the local amenities. She will advise you on what visits to make. She will remain available for any questions or advice you may need during your stay, which we hope will be as pleasant as all the others we will have here.

The house is on one level. It is fully air-conditioned. It covers 132 m2. The living room has two two-seater sofas and an armchair. There is also a large 4K television, a DVD player and a stereo system. There are plenty of DVDs and CDs in the drawers, as well as board games. The dining area has a table for six to eight guests. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped. Inside, three bedrooms with high-quality bedding are arranged on either side of the living room: on one side, a master suite with en-suite shower room, and on the other, two bedrooms, a bathroom and separate toilet. Like the master suite, the romantic bedroom has a queen-size bed. The blue room has two single beds. All the bedrooms overlook the garden. A pantry completes the set, with an extra large fridge and freezer. We can only accommodate 6 people and one child (maximum age 3/4) as we offer a 120cm x 60cm cot in addition to the bedrooms.

The entrance gate opens onto a large garden of almost 3,000 m2 protected by cypress hedges, a haven of peace and greenery planted with olive trees, mulberry trees, fruit trees and oleanders. The seasonal vegetation and flowers are a pleasure to behold. You'll find a 'zen' area with a small outdoor table and two chairs in the shade of four mulberry-plane trees, offering a welcome spot of rest, tranquillity and reading. The 60 m2 terrace overlooks the beautiful garden. Here, you can enjoy lunch in the shade of the blinds, then tea or coffee under the pergola. A large-capacity gas barbecue makes for an enjoyable evening. Around the 4 x 8 metre swimming pool, secured by an electric cover, parasols and deckchairs invite you to relax in the sun.

There's also a table tennis table, outdoor games and four bikes for exploring the surrounding area. There's even a baby seat for your little one.

Within a 50 km radius, the region offers a wealth of opportunities and a varied natural environment: The garrigue smells of thyme, rosemary and juniper. The Cévennes National Park offers a wealth of walks. There are plenty of beaches within an hour's drive, from Sète to Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, via Frontignan, Carnon, La Grande-Motte and Le Grau-du-Roi. The Petite Camargue offers a succession of marshes, fields and rice paddies, as well as wild pink flamingos and farmed bulls. When it comes to culture and leisure activities, the Gard and Hérault regions boast a rich local heritage: Roman sites of Nîmes, Uzès and Pont-du-Gard (30 to 40 minutes by car); Anduze, 20 minutes away, with its rich heritage listed as a Historic Monument; a further five minutes will take you to La Bambouseraie in the Cévennes, one of the most beautiful gardens in France; nearby, the Cévennes steam train runs between Anduze and Saint-Jean-du-Gard, through the Gardons valley and its panoramic views; Sommières, a medieval town, is 25 minutes away; the Duchy of Uzès is 40 minutes away. Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert (1 h), on the route to Santiago de Compostela, is one of France's most beautiful villages, as is the Abbey of Gellone, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Just 30 minutes away, the Grotte des Demoiselles offers an unforgettable tour of giant stalagmites and stalactites, limestone flows, tall columns and translucent draperies. You can also enjoy swimming in the rivers and canoeing in the Hérault gorges at Laroque (30 mins away) between cliffs and rocky peaks.
