About this place
Escape to Twilight Woods, a modern woodland retreat for up to 4 guests. Spend mornings on the covered wraparound porch, unwind in the hot tub, or end the day beneath the stars by the fire pit. Inside are two queen bedrooms with 100% cotton sheets, an electric fireplace, and fast fiber internet. Perfect for hiking trips, couples’ getaways, or a quiet reset in the woods.
The scenic 1-mile gravel approach includes steep hills and small creek crossings; AWD/4WD is recommended, especially in winter.
The space
Twilight Woods pairs a cozy cabin feel with clean, modern comforts. The open living area features high ceilings, comfortable seating, a 65-inch smart TV and large windows that keep the wooded setting in view. The dining table seats four, and the full kitchen is stocked with the essentials for preparing meals during your stay.
Two comfortable bedrooms each feature a queen bed, with a well-stocked bathroom and walk-in shower located between them.
The covered wraparound porch is one of our favorite parts of the cabin. In the front, settle into the rocking chairs and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. Around back, you’ll find outdoor dining, additional seating, a private hot tub, and tranquil views through the trees with seasonal glimpses across the valley. Just off the driveway, the fire pit offers a cozy place to gather after a day of exploring.
Guest access
Guests will have full access to the entire property, with the exception of one locked owner’s closet. Storage is available in both bedrooms for luggage and unpacking during your stay.
Other things to note
Twilight Woods is secluded and about a mile off the beaten path. The final approach includes winding rural roads, steep hills, and two creek crossings. AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended, especially during winter weather or after heavy rain. Drive slowly and plan to arrive before dark whenever possible.
Water: The cabin uses a cistern water system, which is common for rural properties in the area. The water is fine for showering, washing dishes, and other everyday household use, but we recommend using bottled water for drinking and cooking. A starter supply of bottled water will be waiting for you when you arrive; guests may wish to bring additional water for longer stays.
A small amount of firewood may be available, but availability is not guaranteed. Guests should plan to bring or purchase their own.
The cabin is surrounded by woods, so wildlife, insects, and occasional outdoor debris are part of the natural setting. Please keep doors closed and never leave food outside.
Quiet hours begin at 10 p.m. Please be considerate of the permanent residents who live nearby.
The private hot tub is available year-round, weather and maintenance permitting. Please follow the posted hot-tub rules and replace the cover after each use.
For security, one exterior camera monitors the driveway and entry areas. There are no cameras inside the cabin.
No pets allowed.
