Velvet Cottage is set in it's own private grounds above a country lane backed by National Trust owned Velvet Hill. It boasts fabulous views across the valley towards the Horseshoe Pass. Our cottage is perfect for couples, groups of friends and families. We are pet friendly with a fully enclosed garden. A wide variety of outdoor pursuits are available, including some of the best walking in the UK, right from the doorstep. Private off road parking for one vehicle is provided free of charge. The cottage has three bedrooms sleeping up to five guests. Bedding, towels, heating and unlimited WiFi are provided. The downstairs area features a fully equipped kitchen/diner, a lounge and a computer/study area at the bottom of the stairs. Our cottage is ideal for a relaxing break for dog owners, couples, groups of friends and families.

Access is from a private offroad parking bay via a series of concrete steps. DUE TO THE EXTERNAL ACCESS STEPS AND AN INTERNAL STAIRCASE, THE COTTAGE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR PERSONS OF LIMITED MOBILITY OR BREATHING DIFFICULTIES SUCH AS ASTHMA.

Velvet Cottage has a large enclosed garden which is suitable for dogs to explore freely! The front terrace is great for outdoor breakfasts in early morning Summer sun and a sunbathing/barbecue terrace can be found by following a short, fairly steep footpath up to the back of the cottage (sunbeds and a barbecue set are provided). Velvet Cottage has storage space for up to five bicycles and/or sports equipment.

Despite the rural location, there are many amenities in walking distance and some of the best walking in the UK, right from the doorstep. The Llangollen area boasts a wide variety of outdoor pursuits and world class tourist attractions.
