A custom-built tiny house tucked into a quiet, private woodland setting. Spend the evening in the hot tub, settle in by the fire, or walk to Blueberry Lake. It’s an easy home base for hiking, skiing, swimming, and exploring the Mad River Valley—whether you’re here for a weekend together or a few quiet days alone.

The space
The 200-square-foot layout is compact but divided into distinct spaces. Soft earth tones, natural wood, live plants and simple finishes give the interior a calm, welcoming feel.

The living room has a sofa, television, propane fireplace, Bluetooth speaker, books and games. The compact kitchen is set up for preparing meals with a two-burner electric cooktop, countertop oven and cooking essentials. Coffee, tea, pancake mix and Vermont maple syrup are provided.

SLEEPING ALCOVE
The queen bed sits in a pine-lined alcove. It is made with crisp 100% cotton sheets, an organic linen duvet and a soft, quill-free feather-and-down comforter. Pillows line the alcove, making it a delightful place to read as well as sleep.

Please note: The bed fills the alcove and is entered from the foot using a log step. There is no walk-around access.

BATHROOM & STORAGE
The bathroom includes a tiled rain shower, soft absorbent towels, toiletries and shower steamers. Robes are provided for the hot tub, and a separate dressing and storage area gives you room for clothing and luggage.

OUTDOORS
The private hot tub, gas grill and fire pit are available year-round. The deck sits beside a perennial garden edged in stone and looks toward an open meadow. Edison lights give the deck a soft glow after dark.

A short path winds through the small wooded area beside the Tiny House and leads to a sitting bench beneath the trees.

Located on a quiet private road in Vermont’s Mad River Valley.

LOCAL FAVORITES
Guests love starting the day at Blueberry Lake, stopping at the Warren Store, visiting Warren Falls, or heading into Waitsfield for restaurants, shopping, and covered bridges. Lawson’s Finest, American Flatbread, and Savu Sauna all make excellent additions to a fall foliage or wedding weekend itinerary.

Guest access
Guests have exclusive use of the entire Tiny House and its outdoor areas, including the deck, hot tub, gas grill, lawn, fire pit, wooded path and bench. The path eventually continues toward our other rentals, but the wooded area is reserved for Tiny House guests. Parking is available for up to two vehicles.

The nearby orange camp is locked and unoccupied. Its covered porch holds firewood and kindling for guest use in the fire pit.

Two lightweight paddleboards are reserved exclusively for Tiny House guests for seasonal use at Blueberry Lake. A signed liability waiver is required.

Other things to note
BED & MOBILITY
The queen bed fills a raised alcove. Guests step up at the foot of the bed and move forward into place; there is no walk-around access.

WINTER ACCESS
The final ¼ mile is a steep dirt road. AWD or 4WD with winter tires is required from November through early May. Four-wheel drive is not required during summer or fall.

HEATING & COOLING
The propane fireplace is the home’s heat source. A window air conditioner is installed during summer.

OTHER RENTALS
The Alpine Suite and Vermont Chalet are located farther along the property but are not visible from the Tiny House’s main indoor or outdoor areas. The Tiny House has its own parking and outdoor spaces.

RURAL SETTING
Cell service can be unreliable, but Wi-Fi is provided and can be used for Wi-Fi calling. Wildlife, insects, snowplowing and other normal rural conditions may be encountered.
