The Tiny Red Barn is a labor of love built by us for you on the Diascund Reservoir with water views, wooded trails and sunsets. We feel like we're on vacation every day of the year and look forward to sharing our 26 acres with you. Heavily wooded land with rolling trails, birds, deer, squirrels, turtles, chickens and bees. A large amount of our property sits on the Diascund Reservoir which provides a whole other side of nature.
Blue herons, bald eagles, great fishing, kayaking, canoeing all just steps away. If you are looking for a true get away, you've found it. The Tiny Red Barn is approximately 1000 square feet, sleeps 6, built 2021, with full kitchen, sleeping loft, and a natural setting overlooking the reservoir. The screened in porch provides a bit of bug free enjoyment as you relax and take in the sights and sounds.
IMPORTANT NOTE
The Diascund Reservoir is a 1200 acre man made water supply for the city of Newport News. Rainfall determines the levels. As of June 2024, the water level is at 100%. Navigation is good.

Our location is also near several New Kent Wineries; Saude Creek Vineyards (3.5 miles) Gautier Vineyards (3.7 miles) New Kent Winery (11 miles). In addition we are 2 hours from Washington DC, 35 minutes from Richmond, the state capital. 35-45 minutes from Historic Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown Battlefield, Busch Gardens and Water Country.
