The front porch is a great place to relax, listen to the birds, and read. Although it has a shared parking area with the owners, there is still much privacy.

This shows the shared parking area with our house on the right.

This bedroom is cozy, and many guests say they sleep so well with how dark it is in here. Because this used to be the "tanning room" of the former salon, it has an exhaust fan which helps cancel noise.

About this place

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful guesthouse. As you drive up our tree lined driveway, we hope you begin to feel more revived and can be refreshed as you enjoy God's beautiful nature. Let us know if you'd like to borrow bikes (free) for a ride around town. We can't wait to host you!

The space
We live in a small town in rural Iowa. This building used to be the hair salon in town and we have converted it into a small house behind our personal residence. You will have the whole house to yourself. It's about 1,300 ft². You will have one queen bed, one double, bunk beds, and a couple air mattresses.

Guest access
We will unlock the building for your arrival. There will be a key on the kitchen table for your access.

Other things to note
If there are any amenities that you can't immediately find, feel free to shoot us a message and we'll make their location apparent to you. We have a good size property and there may be some amenities not immediately visible.
