Welcome to The Laughing Moose Lodge.

Five star amenities for our guests include hot tub, wood burning sauna, floor to ceiling stone fireplace, luxury percale linens, sandy beach, canoe and kayaks.

The Heritage Trail runs through the property as can be seen in the pictures.

In winter guests can snowmobile and x country ski right from the property onto the trail. Highland Wilderness tours in Maynooth offers snowmobile rentals/tours as well as horseback riding/tours.

In spring/summer the trails are ideal for atvers, mountain biking, and nature walks. Foraging for mushrooms is popular too.

Hosts live on the property. We are here to cater to your every need. We interact with our guests as little or as much as you want. Your privacy is respected at all times.

***November-April hosts live in the lower level. The two levels are completely seperate and private. The amenities are exclusively for our guests, nothing is shared.

***May-October hosts live in an Airstream on the property. The whole cottage is available during these months.

The cottage is only 25 minutes to the east gate of Algonquin Park. Perfect for taking day trips.
