• Great value basic accommodation with hotel-style amenities in a fantastic location.
• Sleeps 5+baby. Whole house to yourselves.
• Fab location near a quiet beach & 7–8 minute walk to town. Stunning sea views over UNESCO biosphere.
• Well-equipped full kitchen, 4g/5g Wifi, lounge & dining/games/study room. TV, DVDs, books, toys.
• Scenic front patio plus a seasonal, secluded sun-trap roof garden accessed up steps.
• Basic historic house with vintage decor, antique furniture & cosmetic defects.
• Washing machine or hotel style laundry. Bed linen supplied. £10 per towel rental/ bring yours.
• Good mobile signal. 4g/5g WiFi. Electric radiators provide heating. Can't use fireplaces or smoke.
• Oak beams/floors. Meaco air purifier but may not suite asthmatics.
• Energy fair use policy.
• Ensure all your group sees photos/description before booking so they know what to expect.
• Free Parking at Penhelig car park (170m) AND at the big beach. Guests do stop outside to unload. No footpath.

Near Beach, National Park, Boats, Golf, Nature, Bird watching. Must write 'giraffe' with booking request to show you've read this. It's to ensure you understand it's historic & basic, though many reviewers say the description is underplayed.

Other things to note
*MUST PUT RIGHT NUMBER OF GUESTS WHEN BOOKING. Can't use more beds than number of guests booked. Unauthorised guests = extra admin charge. CCTV outside.

Pets only by prior arrangement. MUST STAY IN KITCHEN. Safety rule to protect children from flea and tick bites as pests can be treatment resistant. Calm dogs who can settle by themselves do stay here & we may pop by with treats.

Eco-friendly energy fair use policy. Preloaded allowance: Apr- Sep 8kw pd, Oct-Mar 10 kwh pd 4-5. Most guests find this plenty. but if you don't switch off when going out, you can easily add more (message host) .
