The front of the cabin features a small deck with a few chairs. The driveway has two tiers: Approaching on the upper side provides easy access to the first floor. The lower side allows for parking next to our large patio and walk-out primary bedroom.

On clear nights, the stargazing at our cabin is outstanding due to low levels of light pollution. We recommend downloading the Sky Guide app to be aware of anything particularly noteworthy to look out for in the night sky during your stay.

This is the first floor bathroom, it looks out over the upper driveway and has an open laundry area for guests to use. All toilets are equipped with bidets.
Our laundry area features a new full sized washer and dryer, and basic essentials for guests to wash clothes. If you require anything specific (e.g. hypoallergenic, scent-free, or similar) laundry products please bring them with you.
The dining table comfortably seats six and looks out over Watts Bar Lake. The living room area is to the left, a desk to work at is to the right, and the stairs lead up to the loft and upstairs bedroom.
The living room area features a 65" Roku smart TV (bring your own streaming video subscriptions), a pull-out couch with queen sized mattress, and a cabinet full of board games.

Our open upstairs loft area features two trundle beds with twin sized mattresses and a 60" Roku smart TV. The lower beds are on caster wheels and roll out independently and can be positioned anywhere in the loft to comfortably sleep four.
The open loft has plenty of space, and we imagined this as the area where kids can spread out their toys and watch their own TV without disturbing parents on the first floor.

This is the upstairs half bathroom that is shared between guests staying in the loft area and the secondary bedroom. All toilets are equipped with bidets.
The upstairs secondary bedroom features a queen sized mattress and two side tables with electrical outlets and USB chargers. A 60" Roku smart TV hangs on the wall and can be tilted out towards the bed for easy viewing.

On the east side of the house near the lower driveway we have a Grizzl-E Duo level 2 40A charger that can charge two EVs at once via 24' J1772 cables. Please bring any necessary adapters if your EV does not have a J1772 port. (e.g. Tesla to J1772.)
The cabin faces southwest and looks out of the mouth of Eagle's Nest Cove on to the main channel of Watts Bar Lake. The result is a nearly mile-long lake view.
Our lower lake side patio features plenty of seating and a large fire pit. The perfect place to spend your evening.

About this place

A tranquil cabin overlooking Watts Bar Lake. Dog friendly!

Ideally located at the mouth of Eagle's Nest Cove on Watts Bar Lake, our family cabin features the best of both worlds between a main channel lake view and immediate accessibility to a quiet cove to experience everything Watts Bar Lake has to offer. A spacious open-concept layout looks out on to an enormous deck and fully fenced patio / back yard area. Unlike many Watts Bar Lake properties, the cabin features unparalleled access to local restaurants, shopping, and I-40 via a short 15 min. drive.

A FISHERMAN'S DREAM CABIN!

You will be staying less than ten minutes from both the Caney Creek boat ramp and the ramp at Tom Fuller Memorial Park where many fishing tournaments are held. If you need to plug your boat in at night, our driveway can easily hold three bass boats and have each of them within 25’ of an electrical outlet. Our cove is a popular place to fish, and you will be able to easily cast to many of the spots fishermen on boats hit just by standing on our shoreline!

Our cabin was completely remodeled in 2023. Everything is new, or refreshed to be as good as new. We've set up the space to be conducive to hosting two families, with one couple in the downstairs primary bedroom and the other upstairs in the secondary bedroom. Each bedroom offers privacy while the open loft comfortably sleeps four.

Each sleeping area and the living room has its own 60" Roku smart TV which guests can log in to any number of the streaming services they subscribe to. We also have a wide variety of board games to enjoy.

Walking out either of the two sliding glass doors overlooking Watts Bar Lake leads to a spacious deck with a bar top, benches, and Weber grill. The primary bedroom walks out to the large patio below. A secondary patio near the lake has plenty of seating and a large fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows while gazing at the stars.

The area is home to tons of wildlife. Eagles and osprey nest nearby, there is a very active fox den just north of the cabin, and deer are everywhere. The cul de sac that our driveway is on historically has been an incredibly popular spot for local nature photographers. Guests who are quiet and patient will likely see many of these creatures.

Guests traveling with infants or very young children are kindly requested to reach out after booking so we can be sure to have the cabin appropriately equipped for your stay.

Installed near the lower section of the driveway is a Grizzl-E Duo 220V 40A, 10kW level 2 charger that can charge two EVs at once via 24’ J1772 cables. If your vehicle does not have a J1772 connector you will need to bring an appropriate adapter. Charging is free.

We moved down to Tennessee in 2020 and have been enjoying life on Watts Bar Lake ever since. An enormous challenge we had when looking for lake property was finding a home to stay in that offered the lake life vibe we were looking for. Our cabin that we have for rent absolutely nails that feel, and is incredibly representative of what it's like to live in this slice of heaven.

Our cabin has roughly 300' of shoreline on Watts Bar Lake, and is 10 minutes from two boat ramps.

Getting around

Pin Oak Pointe is a very low traffic rural neighborhood. The cabin itself has a large driveway that can park plenty of vehicles. It sits at the end of an extremely private culdesac, so if you're towing a boat or similar it can easily be parked on the street to not need to get into any difficult backing up situations.

The neighborhood features a loop road that is almost exactly one mile long, making for the perfect circular track for walking, running, or biking.

HOA restrictions prevent long-term parking of RVs, campers, and similar so that will need to be a consideration for any extended stays involving any of those things.
