The Book Haven Suite on Main - Madison

Want to sleep in history above our charming bookstore? Just steps from downtown's best shops, restaurants, galleries, parks, and the fun on Main Street is our stylish Book Haven Suite. With bones from 1845, this spacious 1600 sq ft 3 bed, 2 bath apartment home is located on the entire second floor!

Enjoy historical features at every turn, modern amenities, English library decor, and optional 3rd floor "Craft Haven" access.

The space
Built on sturdy joists and pine floors from the mid-19th century, our "Signature Suite" (you'll see why we call it this as you walk up the steps) impresses with high ceilings, innovative architecture, and space to roam, read, and relax day and night.

There's a large kitchen and living room as you enter with a bar top and dining room. As you approach the hallway where all bedrooms and bathrooms are located, you're greeted by a full guest bath with 8-foot tall shower stone walls. Two full-size bedrooms come next with the largest bedroom at the end and its large ensuite bathroom and spacious closet with washer & dryer.

Comfy seating, fast Wifi, and our 50" Roku TV is ready for relaxing evenings.

And if that's not enough, you can book our 3rd floor for parties, meetings, crafting adventures, and movies on our 150" projector screen!

Guest access
All guests initially enter the Book Haven building off Main Street and are greeted by our lobby and a stairway to the right.

You walk up one flight of stairs and see the private door to the apartment. (Up another flight of stairs is our 3rd floor crafting & creative space.)

A couple of things to note before you book:

- Our wonderful neighbor, the Ohio Theatre, has music concerts and events about twice a month. Because the back master bedroom shares a wall with them, you would hear their music until 9 or 10pm when their events end. Although you could sleep in any of the two interior bedrooms to avoid the noise.

- We also occasionally have meetings and parties on our 3rd floor. But we will give you a heads up when they occur and the noise is minimal given our well-insulated apartment.
