Walk to Sunshine Park. I spent many a day pushing my daughter on the now covered swing sets. Plenty of shade and public restrooms. There’s even a free splash park that’s open all day until 7pm or dusk.

These are my retired surfboards. I surfed them in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Once wave riding vehicles they’re born again as art on the wall. They’re secured and won’t fall.

Always something blooming in our yard - even the camellia flowers in January! These Crepe myrtles bloom in the middle of the summer. The flowers are come in many colors. Our crepe myrtles are pink, white, and purple.

135 year old antique vanity from Victorian estate in Newport, RI. It was in Hammersmith Farm- childhood home of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy. In 1953, the estate hosted the wedding reception for then Senator John F Kennedy and Jackie. Imagine that!

White bird of paradise blooms in spring. I bought this plant in 1995 while attending the University of North Florida located in Jacksonville. It’s mothered many other plants from cuttings.
Listen to the local cardinals, finches, ospreys, and Red tail hawks while swinging in our hammock under the coastal scrub oaks.

Pine bark mulched bed filled with aloe, bromeliads, white bird of paradise, California elephant ears, Wong chuk bamboo, Yellow Maui ixora, and Hawaiian ti plants. I dig plants. I dig them a lot.

Original print purchased in Rincon, Puerto Rico spring 2021. The surf culture in Rincon is epic. The town is safe and underdeveloped. You should check it out! Locals call it “Gringon” due to the mainlanders visiting for huge waves and trade winds.
Jax Beach 1939. I never tire of looking at this old photo. I got it in 1997 from a friend. Ladies in bonnets and men is hats are sitting on the boardwalk in the shade under bath house and coca-cola signs. The lifeguard tower is still there today.

Just 10 short blocks to the sand. Feel the sea breeze at our clean and cute 3 Bedroom 2 Bath Home near the beach, golfing, and Mayo Clinic. Located in a safe and quiet neighborhood in South Jax Beach with restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Brand new floors, clean towels and clean bedding make our home a smart choice. Sunshine Park is 2 blocks away with skateboard park, children's playground/splash area, basketball and tennis courts, and exercise path.

The space
Once upon a Time our rental house was our home. We’ve moved on to our dream home but our heart is still in our rental home. We built the house in 2001 and lived in it for 15 years. We love it - we know you will too.
We’ve thoughtfully decorated our 3/2 with comfortable beds and furnishings.

Our home is registered and licensed with the City of Jacksonville Beach, City of Jacksonville, Duval County and the State of Florida. We have to pass an annual inspection with the Fire Marshal of the City of Jacksonville Beach.

We’re close to the beach, shopping, and playgrounds. The beach is 10 blocks away. Our home is 2.5 miles from Mayo Clinic.
