Kayak, barbecue, swim or do whatever adventure you desire while ending the night enjoying the Sunset from your private hot tub!Priceless views
THE SPACE

Enjoy the peace and tranquility of Lake Arrowhead at this cozy 3-bedroom, 2-bath Gaylord chalet, offering Stunning & breathtaking views of the lake from the floor to ceiling door Wall of Windows and all the necessities for a lake lover's retreat with Air Conditioning in those hot summer months. Nestled minutes from golf, biking, and hiking trails, adventure is a short drive away. Discover downtown Gaylord’s Alpine Village, just minutes from your door. Come home to your cozy home away from home for a family BBQ on the deck or, if it's a clear night, some jaw-dropping stargazing or Northern Lights from the fire pit beach side or hot tub!

KITCHEN: Well-equipped kitchen with Dining room with seating for 6 as well as breakfast bar w/ seating for 4 with newer appliances, cooking & bake ware, pots, pans, utensils, spices, dish ware & flatware, Kitchen towels wash cloths included.

BEDROOMS: We have 3 bedrooms, Master bedroom has King Size Bed w/Smart TV, 2nd main floor bedroom has Queen Bed and 3rd Bedroom on 2nd level has 3 Queen Size beds w/Smart TV-Perfect kids room, adults can use the main level, kids upstairs. lol All Linens, pillows, blankets suppled.

BATHROOMS: We offer a full bathroom w/shower and tub on main level and full bathroom upstairs (no shower, just tub) All towels and wash cloths supplied.

ENTERTAINMENT: High Speed Wi-FI Internet throughout property and chalet. We have 3 TV's in chalet....Living room has 60" Smart Samsung TV with 200+ live TV channels, and 1000s of movies and shows on demand, master bedroom has 36" Smart HD TV w/fire stick and upstairs bedroom has 46" Smart HD TV. Attached unheated garage is recreation room which has foosball and Ping pong as well as an extra large dog kennel for your pet so you don't have to haul one with you! Board games cards and puzzles available.

LAKESIDE LIVING/OUTSIDE YARD:

4 Kayaks with paddles and life jackets for your use located on your own sandy beach. We offer a huge deck facing lake with Private outdoor Hot Tub which is usable all year 'round with patio dining set for everyone including Propane BBQ grill with two filled tanks. Bring your wave runners and/or motor boats-perfect for pontoons. Pontoon Rental available, please ask! Nice long dock to fish off or tie off your boat! Wood burning fire pit at Beach with plenty of chairs. Kids very own log play house for the kiddos. Fishing can be done right off dock and you can see the fish you are aiming for! Lake has bass, perch, bluegill, sunfish, & pike and you can see them swimming by on a calm morning or evening as lake is crystal clear. Snowmobile DNR trails accessible from chalet all within 10 min from home as well a Ski Hills nearby for the Winter Enthusiasts! All kinds of Cross Country Ski Trails nearby. Chalet located on a private dead end road-Quiet, no traffic. Plenty of parking on property. Although our property is professionally plowed, we do STRONGLY recommend that you have a 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle to access this property in winter months.

PARK/PAVILION/POOL: Pickle ball & basketball courts as well as play ground for the kiddos and is walking distance with a heated outdoor association swimming pool open Memorial Weekend to Labor Weekend which is a shared pool for members and guests!

Gaylord:

With a unique location on the 45 parallel, the Alpine Village of Gaylord is truly Northern Michigan's heart. Whether planning to travel to Gaylord for the first visit or your 31st, we know that you will be back again and again. Gaylord is unique in its centrality - only minutes from everything you could hope for in the north and things you might not expect either, like top-notch shopping, galleries, arts, music festivals & wireless internet access you can use while relaxing on one of the park benches when downtown

With 25 golf courses most within 15-20 min from Chalet which include world-class resorts and championship golf designed by some of America's top golf course designers, the Gaylord area is your dream golf destination.

Hiking:

Experience all that is Northern Michigan along one of the many trails in Otsego County used for hiking, biking, x-country skiing and snowshoeing. The area abounds with pathways for outdoor enthusiasts of every skill and age level, and all are free to use with no trail passes required.

Ski & Snowshoe:

In Gaylord you'll find the gently sloping terrain, heavily wooded forests and deep annual snowfall ideal for Nordic skiing. It is also not uncommon to see plentiful wildlife out on the trail.

Snowmobile:

Located in the center of Northern Lower Michigan's Snow Belt, the Gaylord area averages over 180 inches of the white stuff annually. We are located in the highest level in Lower Northern Michigan which spells out "Abundant Snow for Winter Enthusiasts". Surrounded by rolling hills, thousand of acres of unspoiled forests and numerous winter activities, Gaylord is quickly emerging as a preferred winter destination.

Elk Viewing:

The Pigeon River State Forest’s expansive 105,000 acres with the Midwest’s only free ranging elk herd offers a unique wilderness experience that is just a short drive from downtown Gaylord. The Department of Natural Resources maintains this excellent elk habitat through careful forest and wildlife management or you can go to Aspen park in Gaylord for Elk Viewing behind Jays Sporting Goods

Rain day or looking to do something different:

• Gaylord Bowling Center: Go Bowling on their 24 lanes

• Gaylord Cinema: Take in a newly released movie

• Otsego County Sports-Plex: where kids and grownups can swim in an Olympic-size pool or rent a pair of skates and take to the ice for 'wintertime' fun, even as the sidewalks are sizzling outside.

• Energy Outlet: a quaint park filled with slides, swings and climbing equipment. Throughout the park are structures embedded with information and etchings of the dinosaur age, and surrounding all the fun stuff is a paved walking track.

• Call of the Wild: where lifelike replicas of Michigan's wildlife will greet you at every turn of the tunnel. Go carts, Mini Golf, Gift Shop, Fudge, Ice Cream.

•Bird Watcher's Paradise! See the Bald Eagles which live on the lake. Also Pileated woodpeckers, loons, ducks, hummingbirds plentiful.

•Come in May for Morel Mushroom Hunting-Just walk in the woods nearby!

The homes which we offer are our own personal paradises which we stay at as much as possible. We love sharing our Vacation Homes to create memories with their families just as we have as well as give you an experience living in the area which you will never forget. All the homes are strictly set up for the Vacationer in mind and all in highly desirable areas with so many different type of activities imaginable for any age group.
