type of building: Multiple-family dwelling. size of property: 845m². year of construction: 1966. no youth groups.Our cosy holiday home is located on the edge of the tranquil village of Hundheim, conveniently close to the Hunsrückhöhenstraße and the Frankfurt-Hahn airport. The nearest railway connection is at Wittlich station.
Excursions to the many nearby sights and leisure activities can be planned in the large eat-in kitchen.
We offer up to 6 persons on 100 m² enough space for common activities with sufficient retreat possibilities.
There are 3 bedrooms with double beds for a good night's sleep. The house also has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bathtub and dining room. Sun worshippers will enjoy the south-facing balcony. You can park your car or motorbike in the large garage directly in the house. There is a parking space in the courtyard for motorhomes. - Specials - December: From the 1st Advent our holiday home shines in a Christmassy ambience, and from the 3rd Advent we also put up a decorated Christmas tree for our guests. For your New Year's Eve celebration we have various glasses available and on request, and by arrangement, we will prepare a night buffet for you. January: In the winter months there is a high probability of snow here in the Hunsrück. The "Erbeskopf", approx. 18 km away, invites you to have great winter fun with cross-country ski runs, a large toboggan run and two ski lifts. Our spacious garage offers plenty of room, even for your ski equipment. February: We also celebrate carnival !!! Some of the most beautiful carnival parades in the area are the parades in Bernkastel-Kues, Morbach and the night parade in Ürzig on the Moselle. I will be happy to provide you with exact dates on request. But even those who want to escape the 5th season are in the right place, because our holiday home is on the edge of Hundheim and is not "haunted" by fools. March: In March the farmer harnesses the cattle. Slowly but surely, the Hunsrück awakens from hibernation. The first flowers tentatively show their blossoms. A pleasant hiking climate awaits you. Discover the power of nature in the woods and meadows and hear the song of the first returning birds. April: Easter, the end of Lent. When the bells fall silent from Good Friday to Easter Sunday, the time is traditionally marked by tinkling. At the top of the hour, small groups parade through the streets and spin the rattles. There is also the opportunity to take part in a beautifully organised Easter service in the small village church. The courtyard and the meadow next to the house offer interesting terrain for young and old to hide Easter eggs. During the winter months, the wood-burning stove provides a cosy atmosphere! (Firewood included) On arrival you will receive a short introduction to the: "Heating with wood"! May: It has turned green, and the witches' night on 1 May gives us a foretaste of the warm season. Depending on the weather, the heated outdoor pool in Morbach awaits the first sun-seekers and sports fans. The sun warms body and soul on the balcony of our house. The barbecue season is opening and, as every year, our barbecue area in the courtyard is at your disposal. Charcoal included, sausages and other local barbecue specialities on request. We look forward to your visit and will take your individual wishes into account.
In the evening you can retire to the cosy living room to read or watch television. Since this year we offer a small village shop in the back of the house.
