Cute, comfy and convenient! This recently updated home is in the heart of Kansas. It's a great space to relax in with a peaceful color scheme and decor. There is a pharmacy, grocery store, restaurants gas stations and shopping just blocks away. It's close the the interstate but still only 5-10 minutes away from most happenings around town. The bathroom has a new elevated toilet and new walk in shower. There are games, puzzles, a DVD player, hotspot for streaming the television and Roku to log on to your streaming subscriptions. Salina is the home of Kansas Wesleyan, KU School of Medicine and Nursing, K-State Salina, Salina Tech, a regional hospital, Rolling Hills Zoo, The Alley, District Eat & Play, The Garage, Smoky Hill River Festival, KKOA Leadsled Spectacular Car Show, Stiefel Theater, Tony's Event Center, Salina Community Theater, Kansas Highway Patrol training academy, hosts many sporting events for all ages at The Field House, ball fields and soccer fields and so much more! It's also at the intersection of I-70 and I-135. Whatever the reason for your stay, we hope you'll find your home away from home at The Peaceful Place.

House Rules

Short term rental agreement must be signed to hold reservation. Copy of ID must be sent to host to hold reservation, can email. Payment at the time of booking. Refundable deposit of $200 is required.

We aim to keep our prices affordable but need our guest's help in doing so. Please clean up after yourself-trash goes in the trash can, wipe up spills immediately (spill towels/washclothes under kitchen sink) notify host if there are stains or damage immediately, wash dishes (can leave on strainer) and clean out refrigerator upon departure. Do not move furniture.

Please do not eat outside of the kitchen or take drinks on the area rugs other then water.

Leave bedding on the bed so stains can be easily found and pre-treated. There are dumpsters on the west side of the house. Please place dirty towels and wash clothes in the baskets provided in bedroom closets. Do not smoke in the house or throw cigarette butts or any trash on the ground.

Cancellation Policy

Strict cancellation policy. You may cancel and receive a refund within 24 hours of booking, otherwise no refunds. Strongly recommend travelers insurance. This is a small business and we cannot hold dates that aren't paid for.
