Supermarket 10 walking minutes, tram and bus at 5-10 walking minutes.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A LISTING TO BOOK A SINGLE ROOM SO YOU ARE NOT RENTING THE ENTIRE FLAT.

We are a couple from Heidelberg. We love to travel and make friends. We have been homesharing for many years and love to offer our flat to nice guests who take good care of our home.
We support airbnb's original idea of living like a local, respecting host's rules, neighbours and showing concern for the environment. If you are more the hotel type guest, we would rather recommend not book with us :-)
I am a university lecturer at the School of Translation and Interpreting of Heidelberg University and my wife a bookkeeper and children educator.

Getting around

The tram line 24 runs every 10 minutes from the Heidelberg train station to Ortenauer Straße or Freiburger Straße, it is a 14-minutes ride and from the tram stop only a 5 to 10 minutes walk.

To get to the old town, take tram 23 to Bismarckplatz. It is a 15-minute ride.

To get back to the flat, take tram line 23 again if you travel until 12:08 a.m., after that, take the moonliner bus M1. It is available until 4:38 a.m. and goes every 30 to 60 minutes.
A taxi costs about 12 Euros from the flat to the old town.
