This little piece of local history was one of the original cabins in the area, built in 1969 on land that was originally partitioned by the owner of the Dublin General Store (established in 1935). The street it's on is named after his eldest son.

The newly remodeled full-service Dublin General Store (part of the Spartan chain) is known for their home made jerky, brats, and sausages that come in every flavor possible. They also have an Ace Hardware, pharmacy, meat market, deli, and sell bait.

Hundreds of miles of snowmobile/ORV trails located very close to the cabin. Access them from the driveway, no hauling necessary.

Originally built in 1938, this is one of the oldest ski areas in the country. By the 1950's, it had become the most popular in Michigan. 4 chair lifts and a surface lift. Affordable.
The cabin is located inside of the Manistee National Forest, with miles of trails for hiking, snowmobiling, cross country and snowshoe skiing, as well as fishing, boating, and hunting.
Charming Manistee is only half hour away. The fun Lake Michigan towns of Traverse City and Ludington are both 1 hr away.
