Positioned high above the beach, the panoramic views are magnificent with patrolled surf, playground and wine bar just steps away. Awake to the soothing sound of the surf, walk across to the sand and soak up the atmosphere of tropical, laidback Queensland.

Get away from it all in this light-drenched apartment with glorious ocean views. My two-bedroom apartment is directly across from Kings Beach, Caloundra, with year-round patrols and bustling seaside eateries at your doorstep. My much-loved abode is on the top floor of a boutique block of six apartments, with a private pool nestled in the grounds.

I’ve transformed my beachside pad with a light and bright, open-plan style. There are breathtaking ocean views from the lounge, kitchen and master bedroom. Wake up with the sun and see lifeguards placing their flags; make a coffee in the kitchen while watching surfers catch their first waves then settle on the balcony as Kings Beach really comes alive.

My apartment is perfect for an easy family holiday. I’m a mum and I get it! You don’t want to be driving to the beach! At my place, pack up the beach bag, walk down the steps and across to the sand or stroll along to the oceanfront tidal saltwater pool — the kids will love it! Have a wine on the balcony while you watch the children play in the playground or take a coastal walk as the sun sets and buy an ice-cream cone.

My little slice of paradise is spotlessly clean and practical, with linen and towels, a huge family-friendly laundry with drying hooks, beach bag and lots of coat hangers. For entertainment, there’s free Wi-Fi (NBN), DVD player and 55" Smart TV with Netflix/Stan/Foxtel etc (don’t forget your passwords!).

There’s a fully equipped kitchen if you’d like to cook your own meals and a BBQ just across the road in the beautiful park by the beach. There are also restaurants and cafes plus Mets on Kings surfclub within walking distance: have fish and chips at Coffee Cat; an almond latte from Frocal's or Kings beach convenience store; a pizza at Harry's; Asian fusion meal at Yum Wasabi or a craft burger at Kings Beach Bar. I’m more than happy to give you any tips on restaurants, cafes or local adventures when you arrive!

My apartment has ample room for two adults and two children, with a queen bed in the master bedroom, two singles in the second bedroom, a separate toilet from the bathroom and a single lock-up garage with beach chairs and beach umbrella. You will always feel comfortable with our reverse cycle air conditioning.

*𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐮𝐩𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬: Kings Beach is currently undergoing some council improvements — the Surf Life Saving Club is being rebuilt, and the playground across the road has now been fenced off with works underway too. Beach access and the Kings Beach Ocean Pool remain open as normal. In recognition of this, our rates will remain unchanged until June 2027.

*The apartment is on the top (third) floor with no lift — access is via flights of 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬. We think the view is absolutely worth it!

*Standard sedans and SUVs fit comfortably in the secure single lock-up 𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 (𝟏.𝟗𝐦 𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭). There is no visitor parking on site, but free street parking is available nearby — it can fill up in peak season so the garage is a bonus.
