Rural Cottage with Sea View - Angra do Heroísmo

This excellent rustic house is located in a privileged spot in the parish of Feteira near the sea, surrounded by vineyards and other crops, fresh air, bright sunshine and an excellent place to rest and relax with the birds chirping. From the patio, terrace and windows of the house you have the breathtaking privilege of looking out over the sea, the Ilhéu das Cabras, the Ilhéu pequeno, Monte Brasil and the historic bay of Angra do Heroísmo. This patio has a mobile barbecue. This rustic one-bedroom house has a living room with a plasma TV, along with a complete kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee and tea maker and other kitchen utensils. The bedroom has a double bed with a bedside table and cosy antique furniture typical of a rustic house. The bathroom has a shower and all the necessary utensils. In this house there is an attic with a double bed, bedside table and chest of drawers. In this place called Serretinha, this type of house with an attic is traditional and very common. This house sleeps up to 2 people.

With just 3 km² in area, Feteira is the smallest rural parish on the island of Terceira. It develops along a sloping slope towards the south, opposite the Ilhéus das Cabras, which give it a special charm. In this area, although semi-permanent pastures predominate, there is relative cultural diversity, with the cultivation of spring corn, vegetables and some orchards. The lowest part was almost completely converted into corraletas occupied by vineyards and orchards, and is currently almost completely abandoned or occupied by buildings. The lower areas, where the best vineyards were, are currently a mostly urbanized space, divided by new roads that cut through the bush. Located in an area with a strong slope facing south, the lowest part has high sunshine and a comparatively dry and mild climate, which, combined with the excellent landscape, explains the surge in housing construction that is taking place there.
