Hi, I’m Lee and I live in Bingley, West Yorkshire with my wife (Wendy) and two sons. We have a passion for food and drink and the outdoors which makes the Lake District an ideal place for us. Wendy spent most of her childhood in the Lakes and introduced the place at a much deeper level when we met. We absolutely love the Lake District now and used to hate having to leave after yet another day out and having to drive home. We just had to find a way of getting a place up here! We decided the way to do this was to set up an experience for others through AirBnb by offering a high-end, luxurious experience for other lovers of the Lake District. That is when we bought the duplex apartment within the newly developed historic Ironworks site. We understand that peoples time away from their busy working lives is precious and we launched River Vista Retreat to do our best to make sure that all of our guests have everything they need whether its access to adventure or purely for relaxation.
