Built in 1937, this historic home still has plenty of charm, but everything in this two bedroom, one bathroom house was renovated in January, 2022: New floors, glass shower, butcher block countertops, appliances, and furniture!
Located on quiet, conveniently located Riverview Drive (east of US1), everything Downtown Melbourne has to offer is just a short walk away. Riverview Cottage is our newest offering at The Riverview. With 2 bedrooms and one bathroom, a living room, a full kitchen, a laundry room, and a screened front porch, this is the largest property at The Riverview.
THE SPACE
Even though this is a stand alone house, it is still for rest and relaxation and we expect our guests to be respectful of the neighbors. If you are looking for a place to party, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. If you are looking for a quiet, cozy house in Downtown Melbourne where you can relax, look no further!
PETS
This house is dog friendly for a maximum of two dogs, on a case by case basis. We charge an $80 Pet Fee and also require an additional $500 security deposit to cover any potential damage. This deposit will be returned in full after confirming there is no damage to the house after you checkout.
If you would like to bring a pet, please message us the breed and size of your dog, and confirm that you will never leave your dog unattended. Whenever you leave the house, your dog needs to leave with you.
Finally, this should go without saying, but please clean up after your dog.
LAUNDRY
Riverview Cottage includes a private laundry room. Detergent, fabric softener, and even an iron are all provided.
TV
Hulu + Live TV (for more than 65 live TV channels including local networks) is provided and will give you access to thousands of free movies and shows. You are also welcome to log in to any streaming services that you subscribe to (Netflix, Disney+, YouTubeTV and so on).
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Located on a quiet street two blocks north of Wawa, everything downtown Melbourne has to offer is within walking distance.
Attractions:
-The east end of Downtown Melbourne (restaurants, bars, shopping) is only a short walk away.
-The ocean/public beach: 2.5 miles
-Florida Institute of Technology: 2.5 miles
-Brevard Zoo: 14 miles
-Space Coast Stadium: 17 miles
-Kennedy Space Center: 37 miles
-Disney World: 75 miles
Airports:
-Melbourne International Airport (MLB): 2 miles
-Orlando International Airport (MCO): 60 miles
