Welcome to your cozy riverside escape in the heart of Parry Sound. This inviting boho getaway is perfect for those looking to retreat, relax, and reconnect. Enjoy a waterfront vibe while being close to the convenience of town. Sip your morning coffee on the back deck, spend the evening around the campfire, and head to the river for a kayak/SUP. When you want to get out of the house, you can walk to restaurants, downtown shops, nature trails, and the Bay - the best of all worlds on the river.

The space
This is a cute semi-detached home within walking distance to downtown Parry Sound. It is best suited for 4 people, but can accommodate up to 6 with the fold out sofa in the den, and the folding chairs provided. There are 2 bedrooms (one queen bed and 1 full sized bed), 1 full bathroom with a tub, and a den area with a fold out couch. "The Studio" is a unique space in the backyard overlooking the river when you can do some sketching, enjoy some yoga, play some cards/games, do a puzzle, or perhaps use the space as a spot to read your book and relax. Have your morning coffee on the covered back deck looking out over the water or saunter down to the firepit to enjoy the views. (Note: we do have geese who visit the waterfront area, so water shoes are advised)

The kitchen is equipped with dishes, small appliances, utensils, a well-stocked coffee bar, and everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable. We provide bath towels, beach towels, and bedding - just bring your suitcase.

There are 2 free parking spots included. This is a busy street, no parking on the street please.

The location is close to restaurants and various local amenities within walking distance including: Dent Bay Bakery, Orr's Butcher and Deli, Trestle Brewery, Legend Spirits Company, the downtown shops, walk along the Fitness Trail to arrive at the Town Dock and Georgian Bay.

We provide kayaks for you to enjoy the river and we have a few life jackets but it is recommended to bring your own. This is especially important for children so that you know they fit correctly.

Guest access
You are booking the entire home, there is no sharing of space. You will have access to the home, the deck, the backyard, the Studio, and the waterfront area. There are 2 parking spots, please be sure to park in the driveway as there is no parking on the street at anytime. There is no access to the downstairs. Access to the dwelling will be provided with a lock box and keys. Please be sure to put the keys back in the lock box after you lock up the house on your departure. Lock all doors anytime you leave the house. I often leave the porch unlocked, but you do have a key if you prefer to lock it.

Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE: this is an in town semi-detached home, therefore there will be some normal neighbourhood noise of barking dogs, children playing, music playing (the neighbours often have great music playing), neighbours chatting (they are great neighbours!), the train (the train is EVERYWHERE in Parry Sound - it is definitely part of its charm! ) and traffic when you are outside, as this is a busy street. Embrace it all as you have a lovely backyard riverside escape plus you are in the heart of the beauty and convenience of Parry Sound. Please be respectful and monitor your noise levels, be sure to note the quiet times. Thanks so much for your cooperation. Also, please know that there is a video camera on premises at the front door.
