Riverbend Retreat is a waterfront vacation gem offering a place to unplug and relax right on the Georgia Coast. Surrounded by history, wildlife, boating, fishing, kayaking, biking, and screensaver-worthy sunsets. Riverbend is located on a peninsula covered by majestic live oaks draped with Spanish Moss.

From this spacious, two-story, pet-friendly home, there are amazing views from the screened-in back porch, large deck, and back of the house. Regardless of high tide or low tide, your boat will sit safely atop deep water 24/7 at a private short dock just steps from the house. No boat? No problem! Our dock is known for being one of the best fishing spots in the county. The dock includes fold-down aluminum stairs for easy in and out of the water and a lighted fish cleaning station with running fresh water and electricity.

You will quickly find that "elbow room" is no problem as the house has a very open and spacious floorplan. The main living area is upstairs, accessible by the stairs or a chair lift. For the culinarian(s) of the group, feel free to work some magic in a kitchen that includes tools needed for cooking, an Electrolux double convection oven, a Jenn-Air gas cooktop, and grill: perfect for preparing your catch of the day. The dining room table provides eight seats to comfortably enjoy your edible masterpiece, as well as four more seats at the counter.

After dinner, get cozy in the family room on one of our oversized couches in front of a fireplace and a 55" smart flat-screen television, or choose from a large selection of board games to play on our game table. If you want to be more active, go downstairs for a friendly game of ping-pong or fuse ball.

The main bedroom upstairs is very large and includes a sitting area with w/two recliners, a fireplace, and a 55' smart flat-screened TV. The King size bed is adjustable by a remote which raises the head. In addition, there is a sleeper sofa, a desk, and a small library of books for the reader in your group.

Downstairs, A full bathroom connects two large rooms, with a sink and mirror in each room. One bedroom contains a king-size adjustable bed and a 50" flat-screen television. The other bedroom has two twin beds and a bunk bed with a twin mattress on top and a full mattress on the bottom. This room can sleep up to five people and is ideal for children.

To enjoy the river, there are four single-person kayaks, one 2-person kayak, and a light-weight canoe. Only minutes away from Riverbend Retreat is a marina with a lift and boat ramp where you can also fuel up and purchase bait. You can also enjoy the long, paved, oak-lined drive, which is fantastic for walking and taking bike rides with the numerous bicycles and helmets that are available.
