Raystown Farmhouse, <1mile to boat access. AC/wifi - James Creek

Rounhdill Farm is a "retired" farm featuring a farmhouse built pre-1900! We are restoring the original hand hewn logs in part of the house. 2 ponds are on the property with some good fishing for catch and release, a great way to spend the evening after being out on the water all day!

Location: We are less than a mile from Raystown Resort, we are also less than a mile from the Tatman Run entrance! We are about 3 miles from Trough Creek State Park which features great trout fishing, and rugged hiking trails that lead to wonders like Balanced Rock and Rainbow Falls.

The Farmhouse: The house features a large modern kitchen with dishwasher, oven/stove, microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, TV, and water cooler and it opens out onto the back patio with an outside fireplace. There are 2 living rooms on the main level, one of which has nice views of the pond and the 2nd living room has a sleeper sofa and opens out onto a large covered porch with a sink and counter. A large bathroom (the only bathroom) is also on the main floor that also has a full size laundry machine and dryer. The second floor has an extra bed in the upstairs hall and then has 2 bedrooms that each have 2 queen beds.

The Farm: On the farm, you will find plenty of parking for your boats, trailers and vehicles. There are 2 ponds very close to the house that have some great fishing for catch and release. A large yard area for relaxation. There is a scenic barn that blocks the road view for your privacy. A bunkhouse is 50' from the farmhouse and may be available to rent as well if you need some extra space. The bunkhouse features 2 private bedrooms, a full bath and a kitchenette as well as a deck for viewing the pond. Off limits to enter, but certainly pretty to view are a scenic barn with silo, a stone built spring house, a three bay garage, a boat storage shed on the far side of the pond. There is also a wood shed with wood available for purchase for your fires in the outside fireplace.
