There is a bus stop in the immediate vicinity, and the Emmenuferweg trail and a playground are just a few minutes away. For swimming fun and sports activities, the swimming pool with mini-golf and beach facilities is within walking distance. The chalet is also just a 15-minute walk from the village centre and the Rossweid gondola lift and about 5 minutes from the "Sörenberg Platz" ski lift.

Sörenberg itself, situated at 1165 metres above sea level, attracts visitors with its unique natural, animal and plant world as well as many protected moors. Hikers, bikers and, in winter, skiers and snowboarders will find their paradise here. Sörenberg, the largest winter sports area in the canton of Lucerne with 17 chairlifts and ski lifts spread over 60 kilometres of pistes, delights all generations.
