Quiet,spacious Dog&family friendly, private lake - Jackson

This is the place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, put your feet up, relax and reconnect with family and friends.

This is a fully equipped and completely furnished year round cottage. It is a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom country cottage located on our family farm with a private 10 acre lake a short walk away.

Bedroom #1- king conversion with attached bathroom (the king conversion is two twins together with a thick foam pad bridge between the beds to create a single surface) sleeps two. A smart widescreen TV with local channels and Netflix and other streaming channels.

Bedroom #2-queen sized bed sleeps two

Bedroom #3-bunk beds with a full sized lower bed and another single bed sleeps 3 or 4 small humans.

Bathroom #1- attached to the master bedroom and hallway close to the other bedrooms has a small tub and shower

Bathroom #2-has a shower, vanity and a washer and dryer

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher and microwave and many small appliances. The table seats 8 with lots of extra seating in the adjacent living room with tables and chairs.

The large living room has a huge sectional and a widescreen smart Roku TV with Antenna TV and Netflix. There are 2 small tables with chairs for games, private conversations or extra dining space.

Morningstar Farm Cottage is in a beautiful setting for hikes, fishing, swimming in season. Our guests enjoy sitting on the deck in the fresh air watching sunsets and farm animals.

Rowboat, basic raft with electric motor, canoe, small bass boat and 2 kayaks are included and for your use in season. A swimming platform is anchored in the middle of the lake for swimming fun (seasonal).

The cottage is less than 30 minutes from Michigan State University, The University of Michigan, Michigan International Speedway, 5 - 27 hole golf courses, the Waterloo Recreation Area, the Waterloo Hunt Club and much more.

We have installed a commercial heating and air conditioning system and are currently improving the landscaping by adding natural stone retaining walls and a large patio for outside enjoyment.

Morningstar Farm Cottage is a great place for family vacations, family reunions, girl's weekends, and corporate leasing. No need to send your out of town guests to a hotel, have them stay with us and enjoy privacy and quiet surroundings. Plenty of room for an extra tent and an electrical RV hook up for an additional charge.
