Cozy Glamping with Heat & A/C, Campfire Evenings & a Shared Bath Nearby

Pooh’s Hideout is a unique, family-friendly, one room, cabin in Friedenswald Campground that sleeps 1-2 guests. Fully insulated and heated, it stays cozy in winter and cool in summer with heater and AC.

There is no bathroom in the cabin. A shared full bathroom with a shower is just 50 yards away in the barn with a good supply of towels provided.

Inside the cabin, you'll find a handcrafted full-size futon bed with storage. Fresh Bedding and extra blankets are provided.

There is no indoor kitchen or stove. Inside, you’ll find a mini fridge and small microwave. For cooking, enjoy the gas grill under the shared pavilion or the nearby fire pit

You'll have fresh coffee beans with a grinder and a French press for your morning brew & a hot water kettle.

A peaceful place with rustic charm—perfect for nature lovers!

Wander peaceful woodland trails, relax by the pond front dock, or unwind on a bench beneath a charming, covered bridge.

Book lovers will love the unique Silo Library (shared with all guests)—grab a book, sink into a comfy recliner, and let yourself get lost in a great read. Feel free to borrow a book and enjoy it back at your secluded cabin retreat.

For added convenience, we offer an on-site shared laundry room to keep you fresh during your stay.

We invite you to make yourself at home in our shared outdoor spaces, leave room for others to enjoy, and perhaps meet a new friend along the way!

We live on the property so are typically not far away but will have phone numbers to text if you need anything.

We have lots of parking on site. We are between Merrill and Tomahawk, in the country. If you plan to cook your own food or need snacks you may want to stop on your way through. Once you get here you will want to kick up your feet and relax.
