Two Queen bedrooms, a full bathroom, chef’s kitchen, dining room and Parlor are all conveniently located on the main level, with easy access from the front entrance with just one step up. This listing also includes our lower-level Tiki Lounge, giving your group a bonus space to relax, watch a movie, listen to music or spread out.

MAIN LEVEL — CHEF'S KITCHEN, ISLAND SEATING & DINING
Our spacious chef's kitchen is designed for cooking, sharing food and enjoying time together. The large walnut-top island offers plenty of room for meal prep, morning coffee, laptops or pulling up a stool with a drink while someone else cooks.
The ILVE dual-fuel range anchors a kitchen that's truly set up for cooking, along with a spacious Bosch French-door refrigerator and quality cookware, knives, baking and prep tools. You'll also find a blender, food processor, stand mixer, rice cooker, slow cooker and everyday essentials.
For sharing food and drinks, you'll find serving platters and trays, small plates, cocktail and wine glasses, table linens, cheese and charcuterie boards, and plenty of serving pieces.
Bring home something delicious from a local market or one of Ballard's specialty shops, open a favorite bottle and make yourself at home. Pick out an album from our curated vinyl collection, put it on the record player and enjoy the evening.

◆ PARLOR (LIVING ROOM 1)
The Parlor is at the front of the home, just off the open kitchen and dining space. Anchoring the turret, it’s one of the home’s original rooms and a true showpiece. Restored with wood paneling, soft-close barn-style doors, mid-century styling and dimmable brass lighting, it blends historic character with comfortable modern living. Bay windows bring in natural light and garden views. Curl up on the sofa, stream your favorite shows on the Smart TV, or close the doors and enjoy a cozy evening with friends.

◆ BEDROOMS & BATHROOM
Two uniquely styled Queen bedrooms are located on the main level and share one full bathroom. Both feature high ceilings, luxurious layered bedding, plenty of pillows and extra blankets, plush robes, dimmable lighting, and restored vintage campaign desks that double as a workspace or vanity. The home has central gas heating with a smart thermostat, so you can keep things comfortable on chilly fall evenings.
Closets include hangers, luggage racks and hooks for easy unpacking. The full bathroom includes a tub and shower with a rain showerhead and handheld sprayer, plenty of towel storage, and extra amenities in case you forgot something.

• Peacock Suite — Queen Bed
Located at the front of the home with soft garden-facing light, the Peacock Suite pairs rich jewel tones with a fabric headboard, brass reading sconces, and custom artwork. Convenient power and USB outlets built into the headboard keep devices within easy reach. Positioned away from the kitchen and main living areas, it offers a more tucked-away feel.

• Coral Suite — Queen Bed
The larger of the two bedrooms, the Coral Suite features tall windows, surrounding tree views, and a cozy swivel chair with ottoman. The built-in queen bed includes convenient power and USB outlets at the headboard, along with dimmable bedside lighting. The bathroom is conveniently located just across the hall.

• Flexible Sleeping Options
We provide several sleeping arrangement options for guests traveling with friends or for business. In addition to the two Queen bedrooms, two Twin beds can be arranged in select areas of the home or configured together as one King bed upon request.

OUTDOOR SPACE — BACKYARD & DECK
Step outside from the main living spaces to your fully fenced private backyard and deck. Relax in the hammock chairs or on the outdoor sectional, surrounded by mature trees and bamboo. The BBQ is available for grilling up an easy meal or some game-day favorites.
As the evenings get cooler, choose from two fire options upon request: the fire table surrounded by the sectional for a cozy lounge setting, or the separate fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Bistro lights and accent lighting add a warm glow for drinks, conversation and crisp Seattle evenings outdoors.

LOWER LEVEL — TIKI LOUNGE & ENTERTAINMENT SPACE
Just a few steps down from the main floor, our Mid-Century Modern Tiki Lounge is a dedicated space for music, movies and hanging out. Explore our curated vinyl collection, put on a movie, play some music or break out the karaoke.
A comfortable sectional provides plenty of room to relax, while the Tiki Bar area is stocked with additional glassware and a retro mini fridge for keeping drinks and snacks close at hand. It's a fun bonus space to enjoy together — and an especially cozy spot for a rainy Seattle afternoon or evening.
◆ TIKI BAR & RETRO VINYL LOUNGE
The Tiki Bar and Retro Vinyl Lounge flow together as a casual place to enjoy drinks, play games, or choose an album from our curated vinyl collection. Relax on the cozy loveseat while you listen to a favorite record, read a book, or enjoy a quiet conversation. The bar area includes additional glassware and a retro mini fridge for keeping drinks and snacks close at hand.
◆ THE ULTIMATE LOUNGE FOR MUSIC LOVERS
As musicians, music is a big part of our lives, and we've built it into the Pineapple Castle experience. We offer plenty of ways to make music part of your visit, whether you're listening or making some of your own. Pick up an electric guitar and amp, acoustic guitar, keyboard, or percussion instruments and play. A karaoke machine and colorful lights are also available upon request, turning the Tiki Bar into your own private karaoke stage.

◆ MEDIA LOUNGE / MOVIE THEATRE◆
Tucked around the corner, the lower level opens into a spacious Media Lounge with a huge sectional and large 4K Smart TV. An Amazon Fire TV Stick provides easy access to popular streaming services, or choose a classic movie from our video collection. The oversized sectional offers plenty of room for movie nights and group viewing. Posters and artwork from our own collection, including pieces we've created ourselves, give the space a personal, nostalgic feel.

◆ PARKING & ENTRY
Free street parking is available in front of the house and along the side street, with spaces usually available nearby.

Guests enter through the Front Door into a shared entryway, then through the PINK French Doors into their private guest space. The entryway is the only shared interior area.

Luggage storage in the entryway may be available before check-in or after checkout when arranged in advance.

◆ OWNER SPACE — UPPER LEVEL (NOT INCLUDED)
The second floor is our private, owner-occupied living space and is not included in the rental. Hosts do not enter or use the guest spaces during your stay.

As with any multi-level home, you may occasionally hear normal household sounds or footsteps from the floor above. We’re mindful of our guests and keep noise to a minimum.

The garage is reserved for owner use.

We give guests their privacy throughout their stay and are available if needed for questions, assistance, or local recommendations.

If anything comes up during your stay — whether it’s a question about the house, help with electronics or appliances, or something that needs attention — you can contact the hosts through Airbnb messaging.

For urgent issues, we will respond as quickly as possible.

We respect our guests’ privacy but are always available if assistance is needed.

Ballard is one of Seattle’s most vibrant neighborhoods, known for its mix of great food, local shops, and creative energy. You’ll find everything from casual cafés to standout restaurants, along with independent boutiques, working artists, and live music venues. The area is rooted in local makers and thoughtfully crafted experiences, with a strong craft brewery scene and high-quality food markets all within walking distance. Ballard’s main streets are lined with places to explore, making it easy to spend a full day immersed in the neighborhood.

Once you arrive via I-5 or Hwy 99 (typically within 30 minutes of Seattle–Tacoma International Airport), getting around is easy. Ballard is highly walkable, with shops, dining, and local spots close by. For quicker trips, bikes and scooters are widely available, along with convenient public transit options connecting you to downtown, major venues, and stadiums.

Two-Level Home with Owner Suite
The upper level is our private, owner-occupied living space and is not part of the guest rental. As with any shared historic home, guests may occasionally hear normal household sounds from upstairs.

Neighborhood & Quiet Hours
Pineapple Castle is located in a residential Ballard neighborhood where homes are close together. Guests may occasionally hear normal neighborhood sounds from nearby homes, pets, vehicles, or people enjoying the area. We ask guests to keep conversations and music at a respectful level, especially during quiet hours from 10:00 PM–8:00 AM.

Gatherings & Events
The home is designed for small groups to spend time together but is not suitable for large parties or events.

Smoking Policy
Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. This includes cigarettes, marijuana, and recreational drugs.

Pets
Pets are not permitted. Service animals, as defined by Airbnb policy, are welcome.
