Large mudroom with a second set of washer/driers, cubbies, a bench, a boot dryer, and tons of hooks. Perfect for organizing your ski mornings for first tracks at Sugar Bowl, Royal Gorge, Boreal, Donner Mountain Ski Resort, or Soda Springs Ski Resort (all within a few miles of the cabin.)

Bedroom #1 with queen bed and en suite luxury bathroom.  First floor, directly accessed from the mudroom. Brand new with high ceilings, very high end insulation, luxury bedding, and an ensuite bathroom with heated tile floors and an extra large shower.

Beach Volleyball courts down at the private beach. There are also horseshow pits and bocce ball pits, along with a small stage and picnic tables.
Private beach with the roped in swim area and swimming dock, perfect for jumping into the water or sunbathing.
Kayak storage at the beach! We have a kayak and SUP stored down here for guest use.
Boat dock. Only non-motorized watercraft (sail boats, kayaks, SUPs) are allowed on Serene Lakes, making it perfect for a delightfully peaceful lake outing!
Cross Country Skiing at Royal Gorge! You can literally ski to Royal Gorge from the front door or you can drive 3 minutes to either the main entrance or the meadow entrance at Royal Gorge, the largest cross country ski resort in North America!
Neighborhood sledding hill, only available to neighborhood residents and guests (since you can't park on the county roads during the winter.)

3 bedroom plus a large loft, 2 bathroom cabin in Serene Lakes abutting the Tahoe National Forest. Surrounded by Royal Gorge & 7 min to Sugar Bowl!

Magical cabin in Serene Lakes. 3 bedrooms (each with a queen bed), 1 large loft (with 4 twin beds), 2 bathrooms, and a cozy, open, and connected kitchen, dinning, and living room.

Large mudroom to store all of your outside gear, leaving your living room free for board game nights and late chats by the wood burning stove. Brand new electric heat pump units also warm the cabin on toasty winter nights.

0.5 miles from the lakes in Serene Lakes, which are so lovely for swimming, kayaking, or sailing in. Multiple kayaks and stand up paddle boards available for our guests with 1 SUP and 1 kayak stored down at the beach.

Parking Included

There is garage parking for 1 car in the winter and outside parking for 2 additional cars. There is no street parking in the winter (because of the county plows.) The county plows the neighborhood roads and we have a private snow plow service for the driveway. In the winter, there could still be large amounts of snow that you would need to shovel to access the garage or the mudroom entrance door.

Getting around

An AWD or 4WD car is a must in the winter. This is a neighborhood with some of the highest snow falls in all of North America. The cabin is a short walk to the lakes at Serene Lakes. In non-snow months, you can run or bike to Sugar Bowl. In the winter, we are a short, 7 minute drive from Sugar Bowl and you can literally walk or cross country ski to Royal Gorge Cross Country Ski Resort from the cabin.
