Salt & City Stays are pleased to present this peaceful barn conversation on a working farm in the heart of Pembrokeshire. Enjoy open plan living with a wood burning stove, well equipped kitchen and two comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms all on one level.

Outside, relax in the private garden or soak in the hot tub under the stars. A charming countryside base close to beaches, coastal walks and local attractions, just 3 miles from the town and amenities of Haverfordwest.

Escape to countryside tranquillity at Blueberry Cottage, a beautifully converted single storey barn. With two bedrooms one super king ensuite, which can be made up as a twin and one seperate twin, a family bathroom with bathtub, open plan living and a private garden with patio and hot tub, it is a lovely retreat for a couple or small family of up to four looking for comfort, character and easy access to the coast and countryside.

On arrival you will find parking for two cars and a private lawned garden with patio furniture at the rear. Step inside to the vaulted beamed living space, where you can sink into the sofa, look up to the sky light windows and enjoy the glow of the wood burning stove. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer, with a dining table for relaxed family suppers.

The main bedroom offers a comfortable super king or twin set up and ensuite walk in shower room with basin and WC. The second bedroom has two single beds with a view over the garden. The separate family bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin and WC, ideal for a relaxing soak after a day out and very handy for younger children.

Outside, the private garden and patio provide a peaceful spot for morning coffee or an evening drink, and the hot tub is a special treat at the end of the day, hosted by Salt & City Stays.

Fenton Home Farm sits in peaceful countryside just outside the small village of Crundale, a short drive from Haverfordwest. Guests can enjoy gentle rural surroundings with open fields, quiet lanes and the feeling of a calm, tucked away setting while still being close to everything they need. As previously mentioned Haverfordwest is only a few miles away and offers supermarkets, shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, along with a riverside walk and historic castle ruins.

This location is an excellent base for exploring Pembrokeshire. Within a 15 to 25 minute drive you can reach some of the county’s best beaches including Broad Haven, Little Haven, Newgale and Nolton Haven. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path offers miles of scenic walking, while local attractions such as Picton Castle and Scolton Manor are nearby. St Davids, Britain’s smallest city, is also within easy reach for a day out. It is a relaxed, rural spot that gives guests the best of both worlds, with countryside calm and quick access to the coast and surrounding towns.

There is no EV charger at the property, but chargers can be found in Haverfordwest at several public points including supermarkets and the town centre car parks.

A car is the most convenient way to explore Pembrokeshire, as the cottage is set in a rural location with limited public transport nearby. The nearest bus services run through Haverfordwest, just a short drive away, where you can also connect to trains for access across Wales and beyond. The roads around Crundale and the wider countryside are quiet and scenic, ideal for cycling if you bring bikes with you. Many guests use this spot as a comfortable base to explore beaches, coastal villages and local attractions all within a 15 to 25 minute drive.

Important to Know

There are two additional cottages available on the farm, located very close to Blueberry Cottage. Both have log burners and private hot tubs and are ideal for families or groups looking to stay together while enjoying their own space. Meadow View offers three king size bedrooms and one twin bedroom, with two bathrooms and an ensuite. Cowslip Cottage has one super king ground floor bedroom suite, which can also be made up as a twin, one king bedroom and one twin bedroom, with two additional bathrooms.

• Being on a working farm, you may occasionally hear light countryside sounds; the cottage is otherwise quiet and private.
