Nova Scotia’s North Shore Cottage - River John

In summer, enjoy our quiet beach and swim in the warmest waters north of the Carolinas. Watch the seals sunbathe at low tide while the herons and sandpipers search for hermit crabs.

In winter, cozy up to the fire (4 options! With wood and propane included.) Close to awesome snowmobile trails and less than 30 mins to Ski Wentworth.

Enjoy the panoramic water view and amazing sunsets. You need only pack a bag, everything you need is close by.

The cottage has two bedrooms. One in the loft is quite large and has a Queen size bed and reading nook. You can see the ocean from this room.

The other is on the main floor. Also with a Queen bed. The main floor bedroom has a set of bunk beds as well.

The main room has two couches, two comfy chairs and a kitchen table for up to six (4 chairs at table and a set of folding chairs, if needed.)

The addition of a heat pump provides comforting Air Conditioning during the warmer summer days.

The bathroom has a large soaker tub for two with an electric fireplace that sets a relaxing mood. Pristine hot well water aplenty.

We are on our own well that is tested annually. The water is some of the best drinking water you’ll ever taste.
