Experience a quiet and relaxing holiday in rural France. The Barn is set on acreage with no shared spaces.

Welcome to our home in France, located in Lower Normandy, in the area of Manche, an area of great natural beauty and full of history.

Ideally suited for couples and adults with discerning taste.

Normandy is famous for its history, wonderful cider, Calvados brandy, green fields, stone houses and delicious cheeses. A heaven for food lovers.

The Barn is very well furnished and appointed, rooms are all of a generous size. It is light, airy and spacious.

We are ideally located for day visits to many places of interest such as the spectacular Mont St Michel. The Blanche L'Abbeye is in nearby Mortain along with the waterfalls, the Cascades. Mortain and the local area is full of WWII history, sites of interest and chateaux.

Caen is a short drive and contains many sites relating to William the Conqueror.

There are monuments and ruins at Vire and Avranches and also the Bayeux tapestry to see not far away.

We are close enough to visit the Normandy D-Day beaches for day trips.

Ideally situated for hiking, rock climbing, biking and there is an excellent golf course near Vire.

You may just want to sit in the sun and soak up the peaceful countryside.
