North Shore Romantique gives you so many options to create memories of your lifetime...
- Sit on one of the lanais (balcony in Hawaiian) and listen to the birds chime
- Walk outside and face the majestic Hanalei mountains along the walking path
- Bring your boogie or surfboard, beach umbrella and chairs, and a cooler from the garage to many nearby beaches
- Read a book in the Zen Den while sipping coffee
- Bike to a nearby beach
- Follow the host's recommendation for hikes and Kauai exploration

*Location:*
The "Nihilani Resort" is adjacent to one of the world's most picturesque mountain- and ocean-view walks, a quick bike ride to a playground, beaches, grocery store, restaurants. The world-famous town of Hanalei is a 10-minute drive away.

Within Nihilani, our unit is ideally located far away from the noisy Ka Haku road and a 2 mins walk to the best pool in Princeville. The condo has the most light of any Nihilani unit (we were waiting for this specific unit to go on the market as light was critical to out decision to purchase this oasis).

*Not-so-hidden charges (AC $30 a day if used)*
Unlike most Kauai homes, our oasis offers AC. Sadly, electricity cost on Kauai is 4 times that on the mainland. As such, we charge for AC usage - $30 a day. *If you don't use the AC, there is no charge*. Each room has a ceiling fan to invite the trade winds; additionally we offer floor fans if you really like the breeze. Please note that the AC should not be lowered below 74 degrees F (24.5 C).

*Another not so hidden fee note*
We strongly suggest one in-clean for stays over 10 days. It comes at a discounted cleaning fee that you can leave in cash for the cleaners. It’s such a helpful way to reset your condo while you are on vacation. Clean bathrooms / kitchen / floors to come back to! The cleaning can be arranged for any day / time that’s convenient for you (directly with the cleaner).

*Security Deposit*
For guests with less than 7 reviews, we require a $750 refundable security deposit that is fully returned to the guest within 5 days of their departure assuming no damage is done to the property beyond wear and tear. The deposit is due 2 weeks prior to the check-in and is request and then refunded via airbnb.

*Guest access - smart home:*
You will receive an invitation to make your cell phone into a garage remote a day before you arrive. You will also receive your front door code same day.
