It is 3 kilometres from the village and the beach and is only a 20-minute drive from Palermo airport and 35 minutes from Trapani airport.
Thanks to its excellent location, you can easily reach some of the most beautiful sea and art places in Western Sicily (the Tonnara of Scopello, the Zingaro Reserve, San Vito lo Capo, Segesta, Erice, Monreale, Palermo, Selinunte)
The coast of the Gulf of Castellammare alternates long stretches of sandy beach, ideal for those with small children, with spectacular rocky stretches interspersed with coves.
There is a rich variety of sights, ranging from the famous archaeological sites of Segesta and Selinunte, to the Norman art of Monreale and Palermo, to the charming village of Erice with its spectacular view of the Egadi Islands and the salt pans of Trapani.
This is the Baglio's most elegant house, arranged on two levels for a total of over 110 square metres.
On the ground floor there is a large living room with two sofas (one of which can be converted into a bed for two people), an elegant kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The kitchen, living room and bedroom overlook a charming internal patio where it is pleasant to have breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as to relax on a deckchair in absolute privacy.
A brick staircase leads from the living room to the first floor. Here there is a spacious bedroom with a double bed, which can possibly be separated into two single beds, and a reading area with two armchairs. An extra bed can be added on request. The room has its own bathroom with shower.
From this room, through a balcony overlooking the patio, you can access a splendid terrace with a beautiful view over the roofs and courtyard of the Baglio; here you can enjoy an aperitif while contemplating the light of the spectacular sunsets over the Gulf of Castellammare, enjoy the cool of the evening or sunbathe.
The house is the result of a recent restoration. The use of salvaged materials, such as an old decorated balcony and iron railings, the choice of using stone for the floors and rough chestnut beams for the ceilings, give the environment a special charm.
The house has a heating system that makes it comfortable even for a winter stay.
Ideal accommodation for a family of 4/7 people or for two/three couples of friends.
