Metsäpirtti - Jämsä

Metsäpirtti cabin is located in a peaceful setting, 97 km northeast of Tampere, on the shores of the large Lake Keurusselkä (30 m), in a shallow bay, with a private dock and a rowing boat. The cabin offers a stunning, calming lake view. It is well-equipped and stylishly decorated, providing all the necessary comforts to make your holiday as pleasant as possible. On the glazed terrace, you can work out on the treadmill, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and relax in the hot tub. The terrace features two air heat pumps, which can cool the terrace in summer or heat it in autumn.

The log cabin (built in 2021) includes a living room (sofa bed 120 x 190 cm), a combined kitchen/living room, one bedroom (double bed), and an additional sleeping alcove/workspace (bed for one). The sleeping alcove/workspace is equipped with a small desk, chair, and a 27' extra monitor for a laptop with an HDMI cable. There is an electric sauna, and the bathroom includes a toilet.

The spacious glazed terrace is furnished with garden furniture, a treadmill, a gas grill, and two air heat pumps.

At the lakeshore, there is a wood-heated sauna hut built in 2024. The sauna hut has no running water or electricity; water for the sauna must be brought from the cabin, and lighting is provided by LED lanterns. Showering is available in the main cabin's bathroom. The cabin's kitchen offers a good selection of basic spices.

Environmental values have been considered with the installation of a 10 kW solar power plant on the cabin's roof for more eco-friendly electricity use and energy savings. There is also a lean-to shelter available in the yard.
