The location is at the mouth of the Chippewa River and Lake Superior. The property has one house on 60 acres with 2 km of shoreline on the lake and the river and 3 km trails inside the property.
There are no neighbors.
The house is 1,800 sq ft. It has a wooden interior, patio towards river, a screened porch towards lake with three hammock chairs, a large and protected fire-pit, and a separate Finnish sauna by the river.
Property is equally suited for Spring, Summer and Fall activities.

The space
The location is very private, quiet and for nature lovers. It has both the River and Lake shorelines suitable for both children and adults. Fishing is excellent. Aluminum boat, two Kayaks and Kevlar Canoe are for tenants use. If you like busy city life, this property might not be for you.

Guest access
All 60 fenced-in acres are for tenants use with almost total privacy. Property has several miles of hiking trails exclusively for tenants use

Other things to note
The site owners are Finns, and everything was built to be a Finnish summer house, including a Finnish Sauna. The location is suited for extended stays for those who want to escape city life.
There is a DVD movie library with several hundred latest movies and a 65" satellite TV for those rainy days.
Internet is by satellite dish with 50+ Mg download and 2+ Mtg upload.
There is a complete water purification system for well water consisting of iron remover, water softener and activated carbon filter.
Cottage has no need for air conditioning. It stays cool even in hot weather. For cold days the use of wood burning fireplace is recommended.
If you come for fishing, the best times are last two weeks of May and first three week of June for bass, pike and pike perch. Best times for trout, rainbows and splake are from late August till late October.
