About this place
Lakefront cabin right on Lake Huron! This 2-bedroom, 2-bath Ocqueoc retreat sits on a rocky, private stretch of shoreline. It's perfect for sunsets, rock collecting, and a cold plunge after the private wood-burning sauna. Inside you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, fast fiber WiFi, and a 3-season room for morning coffee. Kayaks and paddleboards in season. For easy swimming, a sandy beach is a 2-minute drive. Cozy in winter too: sauna, fireplace, and storm watching over the lake!
The space
A secluded cabin right on the Lake Huron shore, made for slowing down. Great for couples, families, or a quiet work-from-the-lake week.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Private wood-burning sauna, steps from the water (bring your own firewood)
- Deck and fire pit overlooking the lake (firewood not provided)
- Kayaks and paddleboards (April–October, weather permitting)
- 3-season room for reading, coffee, or watching storms roll in
- Fully equipped kitchen, grill, and in-unit washer/dryer
- Fiber internet, great for remote work and streaming
ABOUT THE SHORELINE
The shoreline is rocks and boulders, not sand, and the rocks can be slippery. Please bring water shoes for kayaking, paddleboarding, or a sauna plunge. Swimming by the cabin is possible but requires care. For easy swimming, use the sandy public beach with parking at the turn onto our street.
