We maintain a strict no-pet policy, Kintaline House has an extensive unsecured garden, and is surrounded by my 24 acres of regenerative smallholding, where there are cats, poultry, and a few sheep, lots of trees, wildlife, and visiting deer.

Ample supplies of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans. I am happy to help you source local delicacies like our nearby sour dough baker, venison and farm gate oyster sales (there is an oyster knife in the drawer)
For your daily adventures there is a well supplied picnic bag & blanket, flask & bottles, Tupperware, folding chairs, umbrellas, and lots of local information. BBQ utensils supplied for the charcoal BBQ to enjoy al fresco dining in the garden.
Bedrooms : Double ensuite downstairs, double and superking/twin upstairs with shared bathroom. Each fully carpeted bedroom has a TV, ample storage, walk-in wardrobes with coathangers, clock, bed side units with table lamps, books and USB charging points. All cotton bedding and towels are provided : extra pillows, cosy blankets, hot water bottles are in the cupboards.
The roomy bathrooms offer deep baths, showers, and bidets. A convenient downstairs toilet is also provided. Bathsheet, Bath towel, hand towel and flannel are provided per person – please bring beach towels. Each basin has a hand towel and soap. Hairdryers, toilet roll, bath mats, assorted supplies, and cleaning materials are included.

Location and Access: Located between Oban and Glencoe, you'll have easy access to our myriad small islands as well as the more obvious attraction of Mull, Iona, Staffa, and Fingal's Cave. The train journey between Mallaig and Fort William, on the Hogwarts Express is popular, as is the heritage experience of Kilmartin Glen and museum to learn of our prehistory. Inveraray is a day of Castles, Jail and crofting alongside the gardens of Crarae, whilst enjoying Loch Fyne smoked fish and oysters, or delicious home baking at any one of so many of our local cafes.
For keen cyclists you can book your bikes on the Glasgow to Oban Train, get off at Connel Ferry, it is less than 5 mile cycle north to Kintaline House. There are such wonderful rides to explore around the lochs Etive, Leven, Creran, Awe and down to the Atlantic Slate Islands.
We also have car hire in Oban so you can come up by train and hire a car for your time here. If you have a private plane, Oban airport is just a few miles down the road, you could meet up with friends driving here for the ultimate in flexibility. The flying around here is renowned for its unique beauty.

Benderloch is a delightful small centre of our area of mountains, beach, sea, and skies. It is a perfect place for holiday, retreat or as a business base.
The Infamous Pink Shop has long opening hours and a very extensive range of groceries, wine, and all sorts of supplies.
Opposite the Pink shop is Ben Lora cafe, a very popular place for lunch and delicious home baking, whilst Tralee Fish and Chips is a walk away, and Hawthorn restaurant is within half a mile. Isle of Eriska fine dining is open to non residents, as is the spa and pool.
Tralee beach is a long sandy stretch of sand, just a few hundred metres from the house, as are woodland walks, whilst Ben Lora is under 2 miles away, a well marked climb with amazing views over Loch Etive, Loch Linnhe to Oban, Mull and Glencoe from the top.
Glencoe is only 25 miles away, Oban just 15 minutes.
There are so many opportunities for outdoor activities - the area is perfect water and hill sports playground, lots of local events, museums, galleries, exhibitions. There are also many quiet places to simply recharge, do nothing, read a book, write, draw, paint ..

There is plenty free parking at the house, as well as a good local taxi service.
There are several buses from the village into Oban if you want to try the whisky at the distillery :) as well as north to Fort William.
If you have a private plane you can fly into Oban airport at Connel just a few miles down the road.
All around us are so many different places to climb, to walk, to kayak, to island hop.
The WalkHighland website is a great resource to plan which Bens you will bag.
Shian Woods is a lovely nature reserve, and just walking the side roads you will pass prehistoric heritage marking our passing in the footprints of ancestors for thousands of years.
Munro Baggers have plenty of choices, and the Photographers are surrounded by inspiration whether from the wildlife, landscape, architecture or the Northern Lights.
Kayakers, canoeists, paddleboarders can find so many places to explore - Lochs Etive and Creran are so different, as is circumnavigating the islands of Kerrera and Lismore.
Divers have long loved this area, whether diving wrecks like the Breda or shore diving the incredible unique underwater life of Loch Creran.
There is Plenty of space outside for paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, boats in the car park and garden. This is a rural setting, off the road. I can provide a hosepipe for rinsing off, and undercover space for bikes etc available next door for wet suits, etc.
