Almodóvar is a charming Andalusian village of about 8,000 inhabitants, included in the Roman Betica Route and among its many attractions is its impressive Castle of La Floresta, a fortress of Arab origin, one of the best preserved in Spain and with spectacular views of the Guadalquivir Valley and the countryside of Cordoba. La Floresta becomes Altojardín, the seat of the Tyrell dynasty in the series Game of Thrones. La Garrida country house is located at the foot of the Hornachuelos Natural Park, which is home to one of the best-preserved areas of Mediterranean forest in the whole of the Sierra Morena. Its trails will transport you to places full of charm where you can contemplate the flight of birds such as storks, eagles or vultures, as well as observe otters, mongooses, wild boars, deer and even lynxes.
La Garrida is located in the heart of a small olive grove of about 8,000 square metres.
