The space
GATHER
Granbäcken is the perfect place for friends and family to gather for relaxing weekends away. The 3800 sq ft home is all yours. We have a large living area for conversation, an open kitchen for meal prep, and two outdoor porches for relaxing with your morning coffee or evening cocktails.

EAT
The kitchen is well stocked with supplies to cook your favorite meals. We have 2 large refrigerators for your use, a KitchenAid gas range with 6 burners and a griddle, and a KitchenAid double wall oven. Our dining table seats 8, the high-top table seats 4, and the overflow table in the summer kitchen seats 4 more.

SLEEP
With 4 spacious bedrooms and 4 full baths, we can easily accommodate large families/groups. The library provides a fifth sleeping area (daybed and trundle) for 2 additional guests. All sleeping areas have blinds or shades. Three of the bedrooms have a desk for a dedicated workspace.

OUTDOORS
The house has 2 large porches overlooking the pond and creek, where you can hear trickling water 24/7. You'll find a Solo Stove and 6 Adirondack chairs to extend your time outside into the evening. Local hikes and a morning walk along Timpson Cove are a must.

LAKE AND BOAT ACCESS??
We do not have a dock or lake access for swimming. You can bring your boat and use the ramp at Anchorage Boat Dock, (1/3 mile away), or rent one at Anchorage Marine for your stay. Call Barney to arrange a 706*782*3013 rental. They also have kayaks and stand-up paddle boards for rent.

DETAILS
This is our family home, enjoyed by several generations. We hope to share it with families here to enjoy Clayton. It is not meant to be a party home, and we expect you to treat it like your own.

We keep personal belongings in the home, but each bedroom has an empty closet, and plenty of dresser drawers are available for your stay.

Guest access
A long private driveway will accommodate onsite parking for many cars.

Other things to note
Please take your household trash with you to the dump on your way out at the end of your stay. The recycling center is only a 2-mile drive.
