Welcome to Farleden - an enchanting cottage in the heart of the Turku Archipelago, a true paradise for nature lovers!

If you seek stunning views, privacy, and the opportunity to immerse yourself in the unique island nature, Farleden is the perfect choice for you.

Spend your days relaxing and spotting seabirds, seals and other wildlife or just enjoying the view with a drink.

Or if you are more the active type, explore the surroundings on a motor boat, sailing dinghy, SUP board or kayaks.

The space
This is an ecological island property. Accommodating up to 9 guests in two separate buildings, Farleden guarantees a tranquil night's sleep for some, whilst others continue to savor the evening. The large surrounding property provides a variety of day and evening activities.

SAUNA BUILDING:
KITCHEN / LIVING ROOM with a modern kitchen and sofa bed for two (90 cm each), or a social area with a fireplace (including table, chairs, games etc.).

PRIVATE SAUNA: Wood-heated sauna and a washroom with a dedicated wood-fired water heating tub and bathing facilities using a wash bowl. A separate changing room is connected to the sauna.

TERRACE: In front of the sauna cottage there is a terrace overlooking the sea with a dining table, outdoors sofa and a gas barbecue.


VILLA BUILDING:
There is also a separate building with two bedrooms with their own entrance:

MASTER BEDROOM: The first bedroom has a double bed (160cm) and a sofa bed for one.

BEDROOM: The second bedroom has a bunk bed, a single bed and a spare bed opening onto the corridor.

The buildings have electricity and clean, potable cold water. Hot water is available at the kitchen sink or by heating the heating tub in the sauna.

The property has an ecological composting outhouse with hand washing basin (cold water).

This ecological nature lovers property is ready to welcome guests for unforgettable holiday.

Guest access
The entire property is available for your private use: 2 buildings, terrace, outhouse WC, dock and large island property to explore. In addition, you may explore the surrounding nature.
Our well-equipped getaway ensures you have everything you need to make the most out of your stay. The possibilities for aquatic adventure are endless. Unwind in your private sauna or take a refreshing dip to the sea on your private beach.

The neighboring small harbour is available for docking boat. In case you have a larger boat please get in touch in advance to discuss docking options.
Tenants can use the equipment available free of charge, e.g. a sailing dinghy (optimist), a kayak, and 2 sup boards. Further equipment is available for a small cost. When renting Farleden, you have the possibility to also rent a larger sailboat (approx. 6m) and a Buster R motorboat (approx. 4m and 40hp) for a separate fee (there are also water skiis and a tube). The equipment (incl. boats) is located on the island, unless otherwise agreed separately before the start of the rental (please contact us to check, among other things, availability and pricing).

There is also the possibility to purchase additional services such as boat transfers and excursions to the beautiful islands and other archipelago destinations nearby through local entrepreneurs. It is also possible to arrange your own boat hire. Information about these will be provided to guests who have booked the cottage. The equipment available (incl. boats) are stored on the island, and their delivery to other location, including the pricing and availability need to be agreed on separately before the booking.

Other things to note
The cottage is on an island which is only accessible by boat.
The boat trip to the island is about 10 minutes by sheltered route from Kalkholmen harbour (approx. 6 km in total). There is a free parking area at Kalkholmen harbour.

In case you need transport, the boat transfer to and from the island is approximately 100 euros / way.

The nightly price includes the use of the property, use of 2 x sup boards, a kayak, a small sailing dinghy (optimist), shampoo/soap and a reasonable amount of gas for the barbeque and reasonable amount of firewood for the fireplace and sauna. The price also includes the removal of rubbish from the island.
Tenants are expected to leave the premises in the same condition as when they arrived as no cleaning fee is included.

Sheets and towels are not included but can be rented for 27 euros / person. We can also make the beds for you in advance for 10 euros / person.
