Every year between the beginning of March and April, thousands of delicate lilac-coloured crocuses, known as "naked maidens", blossom on around 7 hectares of meadows. Drebach is the only village in Germany to have a public observatory with a planetarium. Special children's and family programmes use modern technology to provide a fascinating insight into the vastness of space.
Your holiday home is located in the middle of the Ore Mountains and has a 1,000 m² garden with a decades-old building. The two-storey house offers a total of 70 m² of living space and is suitable for a maximum of 6 people. The stylish furnishings harmonise with the traditional architecture of the region, which is characterised by lots of wood. An open fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere, while the modern natural gas heating system provides cosy warmth at all temperatures. In the living area, two leather sofas invite you to relax. There is a large flat-screen TV with Blue Ray and DVD player. Numerous board games and books provide entertainment. There are two bedrooms on the upper floor.
The half-covered terrace offers a marvellous view of the large garden and the Erzgebirge mountains. Charcoal barbecue and campfire site are available. A playhouse, slide and pedal tractor will keep the little ones entertained.
You can rent the holiday home all year round. The maximum occupancy is 6 people. Thanks to its quiet location in the middle of the Ore Mountains, the well-developed cycling and hiking trails, the "Heidelbachtal" and "Oberes Zschopautal mit Preßnitztal" nature reserves, Drebach is ideal for active recreation on foot or by bike. The village itself, with its 5,700 inhabitants, has a bakery, butcher and a well-stocked supermarket. In the district of Scharfenstein, you can get to know Karl Stülpner, the Robin Hood of the Ore Mountains, by visiting the castle.
